My before & after photos
35 pounds down and more to go. The older you get the harder it is to loose. I am 52 years old go to the gym 5 days a week at 5:30 AM ( oh how I would love to sleep in ) I try to watch what I eat but do have cheat days at times. The biggest challenge is that I have a desk job and sit a lot. I have been trying to get up and…

So far so good. Keep me motivated.
Hopefully, this will motivate others. I am a soldier, 44 years old, married with 4 children. I had some issues in my life that kind of took the wind out of my sail so to speak. I became depressed and basically lived inside my own head. Made it hard on my wife and family. Was constantly sad and never left my bedroom after I…

From 363.4 to 197.7 lbs: My One-Meal-a-Day Success Story
There are lots of ways to drop weight. Unfortunately, the way I chose is still viewed as a radical and reckless method that is "unhealthy." Well, blood panels and practical, measurable results don't lie, friends. It's not unhealthy, and it isn't as hard as it seems and can offer hope when hope seems altogether gone. The…

Best. Ride. Ever.....
Well, at least in several decades. I've been pretty consistent with my bike training this winter as I figure it's the one thing I can improve on the most for the upcoming triathlon season. I just hope this translates into real world improvements once the snow is gone.....

Felt so good when I could fit into a dress that I received as a gift last year but was unable to wear it since it was tight on me :)

4 days on keto, can't sleep
Before anyone asks me, why keto? I'll answer that and get it out of the way. Because it keeps me satiated, I don't feel cravings and I know I'm addicted to carbs, I can't control my calories on carbs. So, I'm doing intermittent fasting (16:8) with it and I already feel great. My sinus hasn't been bothering me since last…

amazing
I have been a long time WW member and a leader at one point. I have been struggling to move the scale even an ounce with their new program. Spoke with their online chat people about the calorie count for their 0 point foods and they said oh eat all you want of them. My question was so I can eat 100 ounces of chicken a day…

Any success stories deal with lowered metabolism?
I keep reading and seeing on YouTube how cutting calories can really make your metabolism slow down to where when you reach maintenance it's hard to stay at maintenance. Anyone deal with this who was moderate in their weight loss efforts and lost about 1 to 1 1/2 pound a week? Thanks!

2018 Starting photo VS 2019 starting photo
I had a long vacation over the Christmas and New Years holidays. Needless to say I ate SO MUCH food. Sweets. Treats. Fried food. Junk. And I gained a bit of weight over that holiday haha. So I officially got back on track recently and was feeling a bit discouraged jumping back in. I had to really reflect and realize how…

I survived No Junk January!
I set a goal for January to not only not eat sugary junk food but to also not buy any during January and I did it despite having 5 kids and a husband with a sweet tooth. Just as a FYI I set this goal because I am a sugar binger and felt I was letting my sweet tooth get way out of control.

Circumferential Abdominoplasty (360° tummy tuck) One year post-op scar update
Hey! It's been a year since my circumferential abdominoplasty surgery (also called a body lift). It was a fantastic experience but it did create some significant and visible scarring. People have asked how the scars have fared over time, so here is the one-year update on that. Bikinis are not in my future, but the scars…

Every now and then I come across and old photo on my phone and then I am amazed at how much I’ve achieved over the past 3 years or so. Left: my highest weight, cca 264 lbs Right: yesterday at 209 lbs. I have come down to 210 lbs in June 2016 and been maintaining since then (+/- 3 lbs). But beenmore focused on weight…
