I LOST 15KLS
But not because of this. Hi! My name is May and I a 25 year-old young woman who never had a chance to be the skinny type. But I tried and this time I did it. O would like to share my photo for a less-than-year difference not because I started to take run or enroll in gym classes (in which by they way I already did but a…

536 days with MFP and 300.8lbs lost
I was told I should post my story on here, well here goes! When I started my weight was 602lbs, and I was miserable. I couldn't walk far without my back being in severe pain. My knees were killing me constantly and I had hurt my heel. I was taking over 2,000mg of ibuprofen to kill pain in my heel. I was basically waiting…

I am just beginning on my weight loss journey I would love to hear from those biggest losers out there who have lost 50 pounds or more and how did you do it/ how long did it take? How much did you weigh at your heaviest versus how much do you weigh now? Once you lost your weight what changes did you make to maintain? And…

Being a chef father of five
Well here it goes, I started this diet exactly one year or 90 pounds ago. I figure it was time to do the whole accomplishment thing. I didn't want to post this until I was off my diet which was about 3 months ago. Relapse after a strict diet is always a concern especially in my profession. Well I'm still on course lucky to…

NSV, all my big clothes are GONE!
I started out at a size 3x (24/26 in store plus sizes). As I've lost weight I keep dropping off bags of clothes at our local charity...some still new with tags so I'm sure someone can use them. I've since had to slowly replace everything. Tonight I bought a new pair of jeans...in a SIZE 16!!!!!!!!!!!! I still have a ways…

200 pounds and so much more
I hit the big milestone today that I've been looking forward to since I started my weight loss journey. 200 pounds lost. Well, 203 pounds to be exact. I've never really gotten emotional through out my weight loss journey but today after seeing that number I sat down and cried for a good 10 minutes. It still shocks and…

NSV! Distance PR!
NSV!! Distance PR! I jogged EIGHT miles without walking!!! 85 minutes. The most I've ever done prior to this was a 10K race three years ago. For those working on c25K, I started there, too. If I can do this, anyone can! Believe in yourself! I am super impressed with myself right now. When I was nearing the end of my jog, I…

What goal should you accomplish in the next 7 days?
Nice to have very short-term goals because long-term goals are nothing more than a chain of short-term goals which are great feedback and motivation. What are your 7 day goals? Me, dip below 190 lbs. and complete 100 non-stop burpees, convincingly, in less than 25 minutes. Who’s next?

Aha. This is why you take progress pics..
So I took pictures when I started out in October. They were pretty mortifying and gave me the kick in in the backside I needed to get control of my eating. I'm 18lbs down so far, eating an average of 1350 cals a day. I'm feeling better and my clothes all fit, and in some cases are getting too big, but I didn't think I…

90 Days on Keto & Intermittent Fasting -> 42 lbs lost
I went a few days of just reducing my carbs before actually committing to keto. I didn't start IF until about 45 days in, and that was to help bust through a few short plateaus. The only real exercise I'm doing is getting around 5,000 steps in per day (I've done a few runs, but those involved drinking beer, so I don't…

Maintainers - how hard was the last 10lbs?
I'm thinking of making a healthywage for the year to lose 20 or 25lbs. I have about 30 left to lose to be in a normal BMI, and 20 or 25lbs over the year is about or under a loss rate of 0.5lb/week, which seems doable. I've already lost 40 in 2018 (well 47 with a few lbs of re-gain over the winter months). It's a challenge,…

2018 weight loss success
I lost 10 kg this year, and I really believe its because I changed my whole mindset towards food: -breakfast is not essential. Eat when hungry. -it's not necessary to cut out any food group. -portion control triumphs everything. -stay away from weight loss internet myths and believe in the cico process. This year my aim is…

Never Give up On Yourself - 65 lbs Down
On the left, I was so embarrased to go out for jogs, and would cry my eyes out when I got back home and remembered all the people that laughed at me. I refused to give up, and I'm never going to give up on myself ever again.

Kitchen first
Hello, I spent all day yesterday cleaning my kitchen. I pull everything out once a year. I throw away, give away and check for expirations. Nothing gets me back on track after the holidays than my clean kitchen. Makes it easier to cook and stay on track. Love your post. So important to declutter.

Progress
It’s that time of year when you start looking back on what’s happened since you last made a promise to yourself that you know you won’t keep passed the second week in January. But last year I did keep my resolution! I’ve lost a ton of weight and i feel so much better for it! I’m not finished yet as today I’m going to get…

Week 1 down!!
I know it's a small success story but week 1 started the day after Christmas, and everything has been great! Years ago I struggled with bulimia, and whenever I tried to lose weight after the fact, I had a resurgence of those old thoughts/habits. I can look back at my food diary and see that earlier in 2018, I lost 20…

C-section Mom of 2 - My progress over the past couple years (lots of pics)
I've been debating for awhile about when to post in here. Should I do it when I hit 130 lbs? Should I wait until I'm happy with my body composition? The list goes on and on. I've posted progress threads in the past, so I think that's what I'll go with; This is a progress thread. Why progress and not a Success? Because, I'm…
