Merry the rest of your life time...you are NOT alone~you're a success story because
You are trying or at the very least "thinking" about trying to get down to size or at the very least a bit more healthy. Not everyone observes the "holidays" ( I don't) and to those of you that do and believe you are alone and no one cares, it's NOT true---I'm posting this thread with YOU in mind. For those of you who…

The big six oh
About 18 months ago I decided I needed to get healthy. I was drinking too much and have history of it getting out of control. So I decided to stop for good. One of the driving forces behind trying harder than ever before to make this time stick was the fear of going into my 60s as a problem drinker; risks of poor health…

I started my new journey on 1 September. I had a terrific week. Went to gym every morning, did a 5km walk yesterday, my calorie intake was great, no cheats. But when I got onto the scale this morning it was like no change from a week ago. Although I know I shouldn't be, I was upset. Then I decided to take out my…

A success story?
Well this Christmas is the very first Christmas I've not been happy with my figure. Last year I had a baby. At the beginning of the year I was an average weight. Midway through I was on medicine that has gaining weight as a side effect, and I put the pounds on. Added to that exercise was hard due to the weather. I've…

Phase 1 done, now for phase 2.
I got remarried 3 years ago and was at my heaviest, I hate my wedding photo's I look like a purple blob. At the time I was in a very sedentary job, I barely got 1000 steps a day and hated that too. A year later I got my dream job and vowed things would change, but we were having a very stressful time in family court…

Don’t quit
A little over a year and two months ago I embarked on a journey that has become so much more than weight loss. I don’t have my old pics right now because my old phone broke. But at 237ish lbs, I was not the healthiest version of me. My hairstyle wasn’t me, nor was my style of dress. It’s harder to dress cute when you’re…

Please tell me you story and feel free to add before and after pictures or suggest good meal ideas. But I want to know how the heck did you do it. Logged in over 1000 days
I just want to say how thankful I am for My Fitness Pal. I started my weight loss journey January 2016 and I have maintained a 46 pound weight loss since about August 2016. I absolutely love this app. I am very active now as well and actually won my age group in the rock n roll 10k in Phoenix January 2018 and just missed…

100 pounds down
Hi everyone! I thought I would share some pictures of my success so far. I'm 21 years old, and I have lost right at 110 pounds. My highest weight was 265, and I am currently 175(ish). I meal prep weekly, eat somewhat clean, and work out a couple of times a week! I'm not done yet. I still want to drop about thirty more…

Weight Loss Dream Came True!
Okay so I think a lot of people talk about the real important reasons to lose weight. Such as; being healthy, being fit, being strong, having energy, avoiding diseases etc. But I think deep down many of us have a weight loss dream that’s more petty...and this one is mine! So I’m a huge nerd and I’ve always loved the idea…

Getting there!
Lyme disease has sidelined me in both my health and my career. Chronic fatigue makes it very difficult to get enough exercise. But using MyFitnessPal to track my foods has helped me lose over 70 pounds so far. I'm under 200 lbs for the first time in my adult life. The most intense exercise I can do is walk, so food…

Lost weight, what now?
So I’m struggling after reaching 219 pounds and coming down to 164 how loose my skin is in the breast area. I’m still trying to loose weight as I’m not at my goal weight but how do I tighten this area up. Everything else I can figure out. Is surgery the only way?

Scale didn't move this week and...
I'm not mad about it! In the past, I would beat myself up for not losing weight and I'd end up binging cause "what's the point?" I think my mentality about losing weight has changed so much over the past 5 months and I've realized the scale doesn't tell a full story. I'm really proud of myself for not freaking out and…

60# down
Well, I am officially 60# down. Can't believe how easy it has been since changing my mindset. This is no diet, but a seriously NEEDED lifestyle change. Feeling so much better. Being able to do things with ease that I couldn't dream of doing before.

Half way there..
Sometimes a change is hard to see and I feel the same as when I started. Today is not one of those days after a Facebook memory! I have a long way to go but I’m proud. Just keep swimming! 50 to goal!!

89KG to 71.5KG and never felt better
Almost 2 years of being overweight and falling into a spiral of depression and 2 months ago I decided to make a change, one of the best choices i’ve ever made. I still have a few KG’s to go but I regret not doing this earlier =D

How well did you do using MyFitnessPal and having PCOS? Any tips? What to eat? What not to eat? Amount of exercise? Thanks!

Hit 60# down, never have really set a goal because this is not about a # or certain occasion for me.....it has to be a lifetime change. Had to get the right mindset. But my husband told me today that I need to get new leggings.....they are no longer tight and he’s calling them joggers 🤣
