How Often Do You Weigh Yourself?
How Often Do You Weigh Yourself? I prefer to weigh in daily, typically every morning. I think it helps me to stay on track and makes it easier for me track weight loss/gain. I could see how weighing in everyday could not be good for someone's mental health. So I am curious of what everyone here prefers to do. I just prefer…

Routine for upper body
So this is one I threw together, it’s sort of a mixture of compound movements and body beast for an upper body routine. If this is your first time doing this one, I recommend doing the first two blocks only until your muscles can handle the last block 😅 also make sure you pick an appropriate weight, this should be…

Running Streaks
What is your longest running streak? Do you believe in streaks? My longest running streak was 66 days. At the time, the 'streak' was important to me. I wanted to see how many days in a row I could run. Then life happend and the streak ended. When it ended, so did my fixation on the whole 'streak' idea. Now I take rest days…

Exercise isn't enough for weight loss
Exercise isn't enough to lead to weight loss, New staty shows that high-intensity exercise may not, by itself, lead to high-intensity weight loss. http://www.cnn.com/2012/09/21/health/weight-exercise-loss/index.html

What now?
I've been using the c25k version of Zombies Run for a while now and have started looking into what to do next. I downloaded the main Zombies Run app, but by comparison it's rubbish! There are no instructions given and no structure - I am left to rely on my own willpower and planning, which renders the app utterly useless!…

Rib Flare?
Up until now, I've always thought I had a huge rib cage. Now, I know that it's actually "only" rib flare. From what I've read on the internet, it's fixable though I have no idea how to do so. Does anyone else have this? Did you fix it? How?

PT's worth it?
I am trying to transition from lifting weights at home to going to a Gym and start lifting heavier weights, due to anxiety the idea of 5ft little me walking over to the weights and lifting is scary haha. So I've decided that I'll look into getting a PT initially to allow me to gain more confidence to go to the gym. It…

Eating all my day's calories
Not new to diet and exercise but wondering if I should eat my "earned-through-exercise" calories or not. I want to lose (relose) about 20lbs. I've been working out with dumbells and some stationary biking 5-7 days/week and am over 60. Watcha think? TIA.

Seeking thoughts on my pull-up predicament.
Hey guys. So I have been doing (well, trying to do them at least) pull ups for the better part of a year now. I have never thought my form was perfect, but after watching some videos on proper form, I think it's not good. In all these videos, their arms are completely straightened on the way down. My problem is, the pull…

Weights/dumbbells and awkward to hold
Hi, I thought I'd start again with JM's 30 day fitness. Used to have the normal rubber type dumbbells but purchased this weight set from decathlon for the price and being able to adjust. The thing is even with the basic amount - just two 1kg weights and 1.6kg bar it comes to almost 5kg on each and even though bar is short,…

Is an under-desk pedaler worth it?
I do call centre work from home. I use a large non-adjustable desk with a lot of equipment, and a new table suitable for a walking pad is not an option. I was looking to get one of those under-desk mini elliptical peddlers as I'm at my desk all day four days a week, and want to know if this would make much of a difference…
