Hi, I’m new to using discussions. I have Ménière’s disease and my vertigo bets out of whack every so often. Floor exercises are out of the question. I am just now able to start using machines to help strengthen my balance issues by strengthening my core (without a lot of head bobbing and movement). Any machine…

If activity level already accounts for calories burned during exercise should I disconnect my fitbit
Wondering if I should disconnect my Fitbit from My Fitness pal as my activity level setting in my profile already accounts for calories burned from activity… so technically I’m getting extra calories by having my Fitbit connected as these calories are already accounted for in my daily activity level? Can anyone shed light…

Under desk 'walking pad' (treadmill)
Storytime! In a past life (my entire life into my early-mid 30's), my weight was never a major issue - sure, there were times I needed to lose a few pounds, but I'd just cut back on the eating out/candy/pop and it would fairly easily fall off. I had active hobbies (still do), but also had active jobs. Fewer injuries as…

Running Help (Pace)
Can anyone share some strategies to change my basic running pace? I did exclusively distance for a while, and now I find myself falling into a slow pace I could keep up for hours every time I quit actively concentrating on pace. Current cadence tends to stay 165ish, so I know that could stand to come up some. Any tips?

What is my activity level?
HI there, I need some help please. I am doing well on my weight loss journey and BMI dropped from 34 to 31. Now a big part of this is my activity level. I am undertaking a minimum of 30 minutes aerobic exercise, 6 days a week. It's generally 45-60 mins but at least 30. So with that in mind why should my activity level be?

But I’d like to start incorporating strength training into my routine. Does anyone have any tips on where to start? Is it…
