Knee injury?
I want to start working out, I bought a wii and I have wii active and a fit board, but I have a bad knee injury and I'm starting physical therapy soon. Any workouts you guys suggest that I can do without putting stress on my knee?

bad knees, any suggestions
Hi, I have bad knees, arthritis in both of them. I had surgery on my left knee to remove torn cartridge 3 yrs ago and it's only made thing worse. I am determined to succeed and get into shape, any ideas or suggestions will be greatly appreciated. Everyone have a WONDERFUL~BLESSED day! :)

ZUMBA for the Wii
Hello MFP ilk ..... Purchased ZUMBA for the Wii last night .... it's pretty fun, and even if I dont get the moves exactly, it's basically glorified latino aerobics that keeps you moving (key, right?) and gives you a fun workout!!! Question for SelectTech owners
So I have a set of Select Techs and love them. But I have noticed that my hands get sweaty and there is not a lot of rubber on the handle. Cause there is that small patch of rubber in the middle then metal on the sides. Did anyone wrap the handle with anything or have any suggestions? I don't want to put something on it…

How often do you work out?
I was wondering how many days a week do you workout? I just started on here, and have been working out every day, I'm not sure I would be with in my calories if I didn't. I've always heard you need at lease one day of rest, I'm just worried about the calories on the day I don't workout.

How to know how fast I'm walking
I walk my dogs 2 miles every day, but I have no clue as to how fast I'm walking. We don't do a fast pace, or a real slow one, so how do I figure this out so I can add it to the exercise database?

How do you track your calories burned? I don't have a heart rate monitor. My treadmill always says that I've burned about twice as much as MFP lists with the time and speed.

Walking vs. Jogging
Sorry if this was addressed in the past and I missed it (I just signed up today!). I read recently that you burn the same amount of calories walking or running the same distance. Is this true? I've alway assumed that jogging would burn more calories?? Anyone have some insight into this?
