How to calculated calories burned with strength training...
Does anyone know how to make this work? I can't seem to find a place to add in lifting weights in such a way that it calculates calories burned. Any tips would be awesome! Thanks!

I am thinking about taking a PiYo class at my gym. Has anyone on the board taken this class? What did you think? What should I expect? I am a little nervous about going to it because I don't want to look like an idiot, but I realize that I need to start somewhere.

Anyone have a Polar F6 HRM? I have a question...
How do you know when the battery is getting low? I looked in the manual but I can't find anything about it. Is there a symbol that shows up? I have noticed some weird symbol showing up in the top left that looks like railroad tracks. Sorry, but that's the best I can describe it.

Is this normal re: heart rate
So--I did 1.77 miles on the treadmill before a leg workout with my trainer last night. It was moderate with my heart rate in the low 140s. P90X, should I?
Im a new mother and also in the military - I do PT (physical training) 5x a week for an hour. (Mostly running = 5miles @ 9min pace, or muscle failure) but i need to lose 26 lbs before july 25th! I need something more, but I dont have alot of freetime seeing im gone to work from 430am- 600pm. Is P90X something I should try?

Getting out of bed ideas?
I start my running schedule this week for a 5k in chicago. Now I am not a morning person and I have a hard time getting out of bed. My plan is to run 3 mornings (for the 5k) in addition to my workouts. Do any of you have any tricks that help you get out of bed for a workout in the AM? HELP!! :drinker:

HRM Calories Burned Question
Hello everyone, I just bought a Polar F6 HRM and love it so far but I am confused about the calories burned and what I should eat back. For instance, let's say I burn 500 calories while at the gym. Do I eat 500 back?? What about the calories I would have burned had I not gone to the gym--- should I subtract those out?
