weak joints... anyone else?
Wasn't sure where this topic would best fit. I am 22, but I have the ankles of an 80 year old. I literally can not sprint across my house without severe pain or even falling flat on my face. Does anyone know of anything I can do to specifically strengthen my joints? I have plenty of leg muscle, so I'm not sure if it's a…

I have heard such amazing things from women that are doing Zumba. My only question is how do I log Zumba in my exercise log? How are the rest of you…

Need advice: the blister
Dear Friends, I had a large blister on my foot this morning from breaking in a new pair of shoes. I'm getting ready for a 1/2 marathon in April and a full marathon in July, so I really can't afford to take a few days off. I taped up my blister all safe and sound and went for 6 miles on the mill at an easy pace. I now have…

fat or excess skin?
I've lost 90 pounds now (and it took a few years since I had two kids in there also). I am noticing that I'm getting pretty toned, but I still have extra stuff. By stuff, I cannot tell exactly if it's loose skin or actual fat. Is there an easy way to tell? It mostly just hangs there (at least in the arms), but I can't…

It is more of a P90X workout. I'm not ready for the sculpt workout, but can certianly do the sweat. It's a great workout (even…

Does anyone have any good advice on walking shoes? I always buy cheap shoes, which never last very long, but even worse, they are not comfortable at all. Walking pains?
So I am just coming back to exercise after over a year of a completely sedentary lifestyle. I decided I would start with walking during my lunch breaks around my office, which is situated on top of a hill. I started yesterday, and made the biggest incline the end of my walk. I noticed a slight burning in my lower legs as I…

Exercise Logging Question
When entering a exercise from the list and entering the minutes...does the calculated calories burned factor in your current weight or is it just an overall average based on an average weight? From what I understand (and I may be wrong) generally those who weigh more burn more doing the same as a lighter person...any input…

Must we exercise an hour a day??!!??
I'm watching the news... they'd mentioned it yesterday too. Some research they've done saying that a person needs moderate exercise like walking at least an hour EVERY day to maintain their healthy weight. They say exercising EVERY DAY only half an hour or less won't be enough to maintain weight, that a person will…
