I am adding any type of exercise a day that I can. I am a person who tries to park as close to a store as I can. Now I am parking as far as I can. I don't do it at night if I am by myself. You can really add alot of steps to your day by doing so. Especailly in those big shopping center parking lots.

I decided to weigh every friday and this morning for my first week ( it is actually my 5th day) I am down 3 pounds. Probably would have been more but I was up late and snacked. :grumble: Any how, 3 lbs is 3 lbs.

I went from 145 to 134 and now to 129. I know that dont seem like much to weight but I am only 4 6 so I am really to short for that I am doing really good and I am VERY happy with myself for not haveing a bad day YET!!!!!

Elliptical calories - Help!
I LOVE the Elliptical machine: it is by far my favorite cardio - except for this one thing. How come the Ellipticals vary SOOOO much in the calories burned? I have 2 small children so I have to workout in sperts. I do 10 mins in the morning. 10 in the afternoon and 25 at night. Does this count as a full 45 mins cardio workout? Or should I do the entire 45 at one time in order for the workout to matter?

I am new at this. I just left Target and walking around there pushing a heavy shopping car for about an hour. I feel like I may have burned a little something.
