Iron supplement?
Hi guys, I started on a low-FODMAP diet to cope with my IBS symptoms and have seen a significant improvement in how I feel since I started, last week. However, with that also comes tiredness. I'd been experiencing that for quite a bit, looked at MFP diary and noticed I barely touch 20% of the recommend daily intake of…

Corned Beef & Cabbage
Corning beef is curing it, primarily, with large crystals of salt, so it's not a very healthy choice even on St Patrick's Day. But most of us love it, especially with cabbage and 'taters. If I pick out the cabbage, how much of the salt from the juice, remains in the leaves? Or how much remains in the meat if it is removed…

Chicken/Turkey nutrition
I'm a little confused on calorie count for chicken and turkey. Sandwich meat says 2oz is 50 calories but then from everything I've read 4oz of cooked chicken breast is is around 200 calories. The math doesn't seem to add up, so which is correct?

Forgot to weigh end product
I made pulled pork lastnight, I have all the precooked weights for all ingredients but because it was a cheat day I didn’t bother to weigh the end product lastnight. It was slow cooked with a lid so I would presume it wouldn’t have lost bugger all weight like most cooked foods do. I want to have some for lunch, should I…

Estimating food that you haven't cooked.
I work away on an oil platform for 2 weeks at a time. During this time I am served food in a canteen like fashion. I am struggling to estimate the amount of food I have on my plate to log. I can't exactly take out some scales and weigh everything. Any suggestions?

Fatty vegetarian protein
I’m edging closer to a more vegetarian diet for ethical reasons. I’m trying to find veggy proteins that contain natural fats. I have a couple of reflux triggers: eggs in all shapes and forms, and lean protein. Chicken breast can be problematic, pulses can be, as same as other proteins with little fat (no, chicken breast…

sushic sushi sodium
I noticed that the sodium content on Sushic sushi combos are REALLY high. Like, 1500mg for a 370g combo that has no sauce or fried components. So now I have two questions. 1. Is the soy sauce packet in there (that I did not use) included in the nutritional values? 2. Where the heck does all the salt come from?

Today is PI day
Don’t forget to pick up some pie with your toilet paper. What is your favorite flavor? Is pie worth the calories to you? I like apple crumble with tons of crumbles, but I also like sweet potato pie.

Does anyone else get produce delivery boxes / have a grocery setup where you're not 100% on what your main food options will be? How do you structure meals around that? Volume Eating - Nutrient Dense Eating
So for years I have eaten small or almost no meals through out the day but then I will eat a salad full of raw veggies the size of a house or I will roast veggies or spiralize them to no end for dinner. I was worried something was wrong with this. Then I began doing some research and discovered that healthy "volume eating"…

Healthy fulfilling breakfast to stay on track
This vegetable omelette cooked in lightly mustard oiled pan has been a life saver. I feel more energetic, fuller throughout the day, and do not feel deprived at all. I’m afraid to skip this for breakfast because I feel that will put me on the wrong track and I’ll snack on bad foods throughout the day.

I've been doing keto for roughly 2 months now, and it's been going great so far. It's easy for me to stick to and I've been eating more healthy/homemade meals than before.
