Will eating sodium prevent weight loss? Or is there another reason for watching it? Are we told not to eat too much of it because it's simply unhealthy? Or is there a correlation with losing weight??????? Carrie

Ice cream sundae
For those with a sweet tooth I just made the BEST sundae! I took a 98% fat free sugar free ice cream sandwhich and cut it up into chunks. Topped it with some Cool Whip Free, a tbsp of chocolate syrup and a tbsp of toasted pecans. YUM. It ran me a little over 200 calories, but was totally worth it!

Vegitarian protein help!
I am trying to meet my daily protein grams but is has been difficult since I've gone vegetarian. So i am wondering what other vegis are eating to get enough protein? I eat the tofu, beans, and nuts but I then also go over my daily carb grams too!

why is it telling me to eat LESS THAN my BMR?
isn't that wrong? My BMR is about 1440 cal, yet myfitness is recommending I eat only 1200 cal a day. to me, that seems counter-intuitive, given what we know about 'starvation diets". I have a hard time keeping my carb intake down because I usually either have rice, pasta, or potatoes with my dinner. I noticed potatoes are really high in calories and carbs, are the carbs in potatoes considered good carbs or bad carbs? And are they better than the carbs found in rice and pasta?
