So I was reading on prevention.com and it said that you should try to balance your calories throughout the day in your meals. Like having 300 calories per meal and 150 calories per snack. Does anyone know anything about this. I usually escalate throughout the day with breakfast being the least calories and dinner being the…

Tea vs. Water
I'm in a discussion with a fellow myfitnesspal member if her drinking of tea would count for drinking water. I greatly disagree and she thinks that it does. So, I'm asking the masses on what they think.

man meals says he
I am having a hard time getting my husband on board to lose weight. He knows that he needs to lose about 100lbs. but when I talk about getting healthy he says that he doesn't like the food that I eat on my diet. He wants meat and potatos rather than "rabbit food". I try to tell him it is more than just salads when eating…

More Diet Rumors
Rumor: Carbs make you fat. The Real Deal: Oh, stop the carb-bashing already, people! Eating carbs doesn't make you gain weight, eating excessive calories does. However, carbs can often be high in calories due to lots of sugars and fats. Processed carb-heavy foods like regular pasta, junk food, and white bread tend to have…

Fasting during Lent
Okay I know that Fasting isn't good for you, but we are suppose to fast on Fridays during Lent. I think the rule (our Priest told us this once, we're Catholic) is that you can snack through out the day, but it has to be equal to less than a small meal and you can have a small at dinner. And of coarse there is no meat on…

300 cal meals
I never realised how filling a 300 calorie meal could be if you choose the right things! great snacks
I know the one hundred calorie snacks are popular and make life easy. But they do little to fill you up. Anything you can eat that is raw or fresh and has not been processed is so much better. As you know if your body has to work to digest the food it not only burns calories while doing so but helps boost your metabolism.…
