Renpho smart scale
So I just purchased the Renpho smart scale from Amazon after reading that it is the most accurate BIA scale out there. I was really surprised to see that when I turned athlete mode on then my body fat % was 25% and when I turned it off it was 37%! Such a huge difference. I know they aren’t as accurate as a dexa scan and I…

Has anyone ever hired a coach for macro meal planning? I feel like I've gone as far as I can on my own and need someone who is more knowledgable than I am and can help me set goals and stay on track. There are so many people who advertise online, many of whom have no nutrition experience, that I'd really like someone who's…

Heavier than I thought 😬
Hi all. Just thought I'd post as I've just had a mild heart attack after stepping on the scales. It was a big deal for me as I have a slight phobia of weighing myself as it can set off some pretty negative thoughts and emotions in me. So anyway, I finally built myself up to do it and it wasn't pretty, I weigh as much as I…

Back on the wagon.... *again*.... A word on 16/8 Intermittent Fasting + carb minimization
I'm back on the wagon again. I'm a bit of a roller-coaster with weight, but each "upward swing" thankfully is less than the last. I'm at about 276lbs right now, after reaching a lowest-in-my-adult-life of 265 a few months ago. I need to drop those 11lbs (which seem to be the important pounds to get into a size 40 pants…
