I don't believe in scales. I believe that it's the "inches" that I want to see dropping (a/k/a sizes). Am I wrong for this? I mean fat can turn into muscle and weight just as much.

sugar
mfp says that i should have 29 grams of sugar a day and I keep going over. I've already cut out things like cookies (not easy) and I love eating fruit but it's full of sugar. I can eat two pieces and i'm already over my sugar for the day. Any suggestions?

I know when you lose weight fast you usually gain it back just as fast and then a bit more... Now I am losing it fast but slow... My Husband thinks it's ok to finish of calories with cheesec
My husband is on this weight loss with me. He feels that since he has leftover calories/fat/carbs he can eat a piece of cheesecake. I don't think this is correct. These are "empty" calories, am I not right?

Age differences
I am really not 99 years old but thats what i have been putting down for my age. I figured it might make a little difference, but not 400 calories!!! eek! My BMR is 400 calories different just because i am 15 and not 99. kinda crazy....

Just in case some people were now aware, you can view all your totals, including calories, fat, protein, carbs, sodium, fibre etc for one day or any time frame by going to Food, at the bottom of Your Food Diary it says "View Full Report Printable". If you wish to see more than just today then changed the From and To Dates…

For 1200 calories it says I should have: Carbs / Day 165 g Fat / Day 40 g Protein / Day 45 g I am 42, I have over 35 pounds to lose, lead a sedentary lifestyle (sit down full time job).
