Hello I'm a 5'9" female, 133lbs. I'd like to be about 120lbs. I've been around 126 in the past, but with a lot of effort. 130-135 seems to be my natural default. Question: would you consider me big at this easily achievable weight or is it worth the effort to go lower, dormouse think? For my part, I feel fat at over 130lb…

HRM help...
I recently bought a Polar FT40 heart rate monitor which I have been using during my Les Mills Combat home workout DVD. I am wondering, are the calories calculated by the HRM net or gross calories (so do I need to subtract what I would usually burn in that amount of time not working out). Hope this makes sense. TIA

I don't consider myself "fat" (whatever that subjective term may mean) but I do have a beer belly that I would like to loose. I have set my goal at 200…

Confused about Net calories
So I logged in my foods and exercise, and MFP said I had 291 Net calories, and 1029 calories remaining. What are Net calories? When I went to complete my log-ins for today, MFP said I'm eating "too few calories" and that I may be putting my body into starvation mode. Does that mean that the more I work out, the more I…

I finally decided to try and pull my weight in because I took one look in the mirror one day and said,"Enough." Fitness for biking
So one of the reasons I've decided to try and get healthier is to improve my biking. I mainly do downhill, with some 4x and occasionally jump park style kind of stuff. Waist-to-Height ratios / BMI + calculator
What do you guys and gals think of this calculator? http://home.fuse.net/clymer/bmi/ I like it, because I can add my age and sex and thus perhaps get a better idea. It gave me a really low body fat though - 14.5% (female age 48). I'm not certain this is very accurate - I think I am higher, and have calculated as much…
