Bellabeat Leaf?
Has anyone gotten this yet? I need a hrm and like the idea of being able to just clip it on rather than have a wristband watch. It's not an investment I take lightly though, so I was hoping for some real person feedback. :) thanks!

Active Athlete Body Well-Being
I am curious. What do those out there that train hard each and every day - run/weights for 2-3 hours (or more) a day - do for muscle/all-over body fatigue. Do you go to regular sports massages? Foam rollers? Heat therapy?

MyFitness Pal subtracting calories after swimming
I use a Garmin to track exercise. When I swim in a 50 meter pool, MFP subtracts calories. However, when I swim the same distance in a 25 meter pool, MFP seems to accurately display calories burned. Has anyone else experienced this? Seems pretty unusual.

Best exercise equipment for the home?
I'm eyeing the ProForm website and they have pretty good deals at the moment. However, I'm not sure which machine would be the best and most practical. I would love a treadmill, but I'm sort of nervous about the size of it, and I have a feeling they would break. Is this true? What do you guys think about fitness mirrors or…

How much often do you go to the gym?
Just curious how often I should be going to the gym every week to start seeing great results? I try to go 3 times a week but someone told me the other day that I should be going every day, is this true?

Forward head posture
I do several "assessments" a week on people and the biggest trends I'm noticing (along with so many being overweight) is FORWARD HEAD POSTURE. It's a rounding of shoulders and the head protruding forward and for some causing neck pain and possible headaches. A lot of it is contributed to work on computers all day, bad…

Walking in place to make sure I get 10,000 steps!
Been doing this for 3 weeks and maybe a little treadmill. Easier on body and feet for sure. Fitbit alerts me as my heart rate goes up. Anyone else doing this? I beg you to try it!!

My feet are hurting on the treadmill!
So, I walked a mile yesterday and a mile today (I know that isn’t much, but I started at 300lbs and haven’t exercised in a while) and I tried two different pairs of shoes, but my feet and ankles end up hurting so bad. My legs are fine and I could keep them moving if my feet didn’t feel so broken. Is this just because I’m…

Will my Apple Watch do this? Body pump
I’ve started to attend Les Mills body pump sessions at my local leisure centre. I’ve not had my Apple Watch long I only really use it to track my steps. Will it tell me how many calories I’ve burned during my body pump session? Using my own weight and height ect not a generic calorie burn? Thanks

Is it bad to just do a couple focus muscle lifts?
I haven't been able to find a gym I like around me and as a result, I haven't lifted weights in a long time. Would it be a bad idea to buy a pair of 15 lb dumbbells and just do bicep curls, shoulder lifts, and similar, without doing the other large muscle group workouts? I'm not necessarily looking for the "most efficient"…

Stair master or treadmill?
Recently i started using the stair master and i work up a lot of sweat but after 10 mins it says I only burn around 70 - 100 calories on level 3 and on a treadmill i usually walk on speed 3.5 and 2 incline and usually burn around the same calories but i barely sweat half as much as i do in the stair master which makes me…

Stronglifts app alternative?
I trialled the Stronglifts app. I liked it a lot and would have happily paid for it. Unfortunately, $40/year is honestly too steep for me. Anyone know of a good alternative? One feature I liked was that it wrote my workout to my Apple Health/Fitness app. I often don’t make my Move goal on lift days (no Watch), it’s nice to…

Sciatica and weight training
Hi everyone, I have had sciatica off snd on for 10 years and get flare ups when lifting weights. I have been told that I need to avoid certain exercises eg deadlifts. I finally got surgery for it and just wondering if anyone has a weight lifting routine that they use that is suitable for me.

Back at it after a while
I had a real good schedule of exercise classes and calorie counting that worked great. I lost 75 lbs. then I got laid off during COVID and life was more about surviving so I stopped doing what needed to be done. Fast forward 2 years and I have gained 100lbs back. I am taking my son and his troop to SeaBase high adventure…

post-exercise hunger
My usual exercise has mostly consisted of daily hour-long walks for the last few years. I added a daily 30-45 minutes of high-intensity cycling a few weeks ago. I don't want to give it up: I enjoy the feeling of accomplishment and want the cardiovascular benefits that will come with keeping this up long-term. I exercise…
