How do I use my HRM?
I just received my Timex Zone Trainer HRM in the mail and I am setting it up. I have the instructions, but it's so much. What should my target heart rate be? Does anyone have a Cliff's Notes version of how to set up/use my HRM so I don't have to spend my entire day trying to read this deck-of-card-sized instruction manual?

Heart Rate percentage? How high is to high?
I've heard that being above 85% is where you burn the most calories....but is it bad to be in the 90s? When doing the 30 day shred, my heart rate gets up and stays up...and I'm around 85%-95% for most of it. It doesn't get this high during Zumba :( So just curious how high should you let your heart rate get before you take…

So I've been doing 30 day shred now for 8 days straight and have been wondering what the results have been for others who have successfully made it through the full 30 days. Anyone care to share? loving turbofire!
i got my turbofire in a week ago and started it immediately. i did two days of workouts and then decided to give the inferno plan a try. No calories with strength training
How come when I input any strength training I do, it doesn't show any calories burnt? Only when you do cardio will it show burnt calories? The program I am using says that I am burning calories when I'm doing say dumbell curls or shoulder presses. I'm just curious!

Muscles holding water...?
I have read on here that when you first start exercising after not doing so for a while, your muscles/body will "hold water" and you might not see the scale budge for a while even if you are drinking water and eating right. I'm curious who has experienced this, and when did it stop (after a week, two weeks, what?).

And in last place....my thighs!
I know everyone is different. We gain differently and we lose differently. But why oh why are my thighs the last place to lose? Doing Power 90 and I'm on day 16. I've noticed small changes in my neck, chest and waist. But....my thighs & butt are the still the same! Is this typical? It's getting a bit annoying!

I started the 30 day shred yesterday and I'm wondering if I'm suppose to do it everyday? I was planning on alternating 30 day shred with yoga meltdown or shred it with weights. I also do cardio on my treadmill for an hour at night. I want great results, so I'm willing to do it everyday if that's what's best.

I love my new HRM! I use it just about every workout but i dont wanna ware out the battery so much since it only has a 2 yr warranty on it.
