Mommy and me dance time
I found a good way to get a little bit more of a work out in.After im done with my regular work out me and my 3 yr old daughter have 20 minutes of what she calls our super crazy silly dance time.Put on some dance music and get crazy with your little ones.Its so much fun and its good for them to be active to!!!!!!

Just bought a treadmill!
So excited.. finally decided to buy a treadmill after hemming and hawing about it forever. Can't wait for it to come..but it won't be for another 2 weeks. I have no problem walking on the treadmill and plan to entertain myself with my iPod, TV, etc. Anyone have any more fun ideas for while they're walking on the treadmill?

My recommended calorie intake for the day is 2000. I plan to do 5*45mins workouts through the week. So is the 2000 cals the result of what I need daily plus the (expected) workout cals? For those of you who swim...
what's your advice on getting started? Do I count laps? Or count time in the pool? Does one stroke burn more calories than others? I need to jump-start my cardio, but I have a bum-knee at the moment, so swimming seems to be the most logical choice.

P90X Calories Burned?
My HRM says I burn a lot more calories than I see others posting what they burn. Could it be that my HRM is inaccurate? For instance I burned more calories doing Yoga (about 1,200) than Kenpo (about 900). What do you burn?

Under calories and haven't worked out yet
So I'm under my calorie goal by about 300 calories for the day and haven't worked out yet. I already had some peanuts too or I'd be under by about 450. Do I exercise and be that much more under or just not work out today? I feel like if I don't work out Im slacking!

Mine says I burn around 500 calories doing the 30 Day Shred level 2 for 20+ minutes. Is that reliable? I just don't want to over estimate my calories and I don't know much about heart rate monitors. Thank you!
