I am changing my workouts to morning just because I am going to school and I have three kids so my schedule is always changing. Is there any proof that one is better than the other as far as burning more? I know I have more energy in the morning so that may have lots to do with it......any thoughts?

I don't know what to do!! Ok here the deal ,I have a big problem working out. I mean I start for one week and then the next week i get lazy and don't work out at all. Ok, so I joined MFP in January....logged in faithfully.....and lost 10 lbs....stopped logging in in February....and gained back the 10 lbs. + 1 more....a rough way to find out that the tools and support offered on this site REALLY WORK!!! I'M BACK FOR GOOD!!!

If I use the elliptical on a high resistance setting (say 7 or 8), does that count as strength training for my legs also? I did 40 min. and my legs are feeling it!:smile:

burning muscles
Okay the lower part of the back of my legs, and sometimes the right foot down by the heal, burn 15 minutes into my walk and continue til end. I weigh 240 and have been walking twice daily for about two weeks. I am up to 5 miles per day. The pain is not bad enough to stop but uncomfortable. Maybe some stretchin ideas?

Low/No Impact Aerobics?
I suffer from rheumatoid arthritis in my legs, so I cannot use a treadmill or even stationary bike without great pain. All I know of that I can do is swim and use the elliptical machine. Is there anything else or am I restricted to these two?
