Switching it up
So now that I have a BMI of around 24 and my stomach is back to (pretty much) flat I'm changing my routine. I used to do 4 days of cardio and 2 days of weights. But now I'm going to switch it to 3 days of weights and 3 days of cardio. I am going to concentrate on 1 area of the body for each weight training day and use…

From MSN this morning - this is just bits and pieces of the article.... In the United States today, 66% of adults are overweight. Almost 33% of adults are obese, and 4.7% are morbidly obese, or more than 100 pounds overweight. But . . . What if nobody in America were fat? We'd save billions of dollars in gas. Airlines…

newbie w/ a question...
Hello all, my name is jeramy and I just joined the site two days ago. I have a basic question: Is it a good idea to go for a long walk after eating a full meal? I've always been told this by other people but I've never thought about what benefits this would have.

Exercising & Dieting with PMS
Do you miss working out because of your menstrual cycle? Do you binge eat on poor choices because of your cravings? I walk around my house instead of using a treadmill or going outside in the cold. This works out for me because I have small kids and also babysit a couple others and when the kids need something I can take care of it and keep moving. I usually walk briskly for 40 minutes. My question is how can I figure how fast or the…

Does anyone know about Thyroid levels?
So back in August I had my Thyroid tested because I was going through depression issues after having my second baby. I clicked on it because…

Victorious Victoria Day Challenge - April 29th
When I grow up, I want to be viviakay. You could tell your husband that your both off the charts! since I'm sure you could do more than 40 bent knee push-ups if you can do 17 regular. I plan on testing myself soon. Also testing myself on cardio, though I expect, it will be my worst rating. There are flexibility…

You have three weeks left to surprise yourself  I have surprised myself a number of ways in these various challenges: I now consider elliptical easier exercise, I do strength training and sometimes enjoy it, and I have to limit the new exercises I'm trying, so I can save some for later. I would love to surprise…

Honestly, if I didn't think I'd drool all over paper work, I'd do it. I have been walking 2 1/2 miles every morning and evening for about three weeks now.…
