great substitute for dressing
I don't know if this has ever been posted here but I have a tasty and spicy way to liven up bland salads. I use chunky salsa as my salad dressing. It makes any salad instantly flavorful and is very light on calories. The best part is you can spice it up to whatever level of hotness you desire. If you don't want to use only…

Am I the only one that eats raw oats?
I don't like the texture of cooked oatmeal. I just put the raw oats in a bowl with half a scoop of protein powder and pour milk on them. I don't let them sit for any length of time; I just eat them right away. These are the regular "old fashioned" oats, not quick cooking or instant.

Difference between fruit and bread carbs?
I feel like I'm always going over my carb budget, but most all of my carbs come from fruit. I know you're not suppose to have a huge amount of carbs in your diet so I'm just wondering if fruit carbs do the same thing to your body as bread carbs?

Stores for Protein Bars
I was wondering what are your options when it comes about buying protein bars. For instance, I like Met-Rx Big100 bars and Sam's Club used to have good deals for those bars, but I haven't seen them selling them anymore. Online prices are a little bit ridiculous and if you find a good price, shipping will kill you. So for…

Cutting out Soft Drinks
Last year I cut out drinks for 4 months completely, but then I let myself slowly go back to it...and it caused my fall back into them. I think I use them as a source of energy and a possible quick comfort-thing, and I really need this to stop. I enjoy Green Tea, do you think if I switch it for Cola that it might help?

Pre-heat the oven to 180degrees celcius (fan forced). 2. Cut a 'pouch' into…

"Spike Day" Nonsense
The concept of the benefits of a “Spike Day” centers around the notion that leptin is a key hormone in bodyweight regulation, and that leptin decreases in response to dieting, which causes our weight loss to slow down. Thus, by having a day of overfeeding, the thinking goes, we can bring leptin back up to baseline, thereby…
