Hi everyone! Everytime I eat a few pieces of fruit in one day (and I truly mean a few, like 1 banana and a handful of blueberries, possibly an apple), I go over the MFP recommended sugar intake for one day. Is this something that I should be avoiding? Can fruit sugar be an obstacle towards weight loss? I always thought…

I am a frequent reader here, seldom poster. Yesterday, someone told a poster they were learning to eat under their calorie limit but not learning to eat the right foods. That statement made the original poster mad, but it sure stuck with me. While it is only partly true for me, it is true to some extent. I find myself…

Staying on track with the fats consumption

Making chocolate protein shake tastier?
I use Optimum Nutrition's Hydro Platinum Whey in the chocolate flavor. I've been using it for about two years and although I thought the taste was great for the first year, I've gotten very tired of it and find it difficult to get down. Is there anything I can do besides mixing it with milk to help?

Why does breakfast suck?
Don't get me wrong here, I LOVE breakfast, but I'm the type that loves all the wrong things: sugary cereal, waffles, pancakes, etc. When it comes to liking the healthy alternatives (eggs, oatmeal, etc), well....not so much. I can take eggs sometimes (scrambled) but after a while, they honestly start making me gag. And…
