Accidental Vegans
My daughter is almost a year and a half old and we are both practically vegans these days because we are both lactose-intolerant and my daughter refuses to eat even the few animal-products I will eat: chicken, eggs, fish. She doesn't like anything white (especially potatoes) and so I hide everything in either tomato or BBQ…

THINSATIONS
So I want to know everyones take on "Thinsations." There is the obvious "you have to eat just one" because they do not become 100 calorie snacks anymore, but the whole nutrition as a whole. They are pretty high in trans fats!

What's your favorite healthy cereal?
Mine's Special K Fruit and Yogurt cereal. It's tasty and 3/4 cup of that is pretty filling with a little (1/2 cup) 2% milk. I'm just afraid I'm starting to get tired of it, and as much as I wish Golden Grahams had a place in a balanced diet, I just don't think that's the case. Boooo.. So.. I'm open to new suggestions.

On doctors orders I began to cut out milk and cheese about the same time as I began to count calories in my first organized attempt to lose weight slowly but steadily. Is there such a thing as drinking too much milk? Since I've completely changed my crap eating habits, I've been drinking a lot of skim milk. Why am I ALWAYS over in the protein column???

Added vs Naturally Occurring Sugar
When counting sugar grams, I always seem to go over because I eat 2-3 pieces of fruit a day (banana, orange, apple). My added sugar is only about 14g (sugar for tea). Do I need to be careful of total sugar intake, or only the added sugar?? Thx.
