I've basically just started this calorie counting stuff. What are net calories? Should I eat my exercise calories back? If it matters, I am breastfeeding a 2 month old. I had my first cheat day... and I feel really guilty
Today i had the norm-- cereal, apple, yogurt, turkey wrap, chicken salad.....but then its daddy's birthday and they brought out the chocolate peanut butter cake. I had one slice adn believe i went over my calories by 300. Should i feel guilty about it and will it be a setback?

Worse than a hangover?
What is a worse feeling than a hangover? Going out to a sports bar last night and eatting chicken strips, french fries, and 2 cokes (no alcohol). I feel miserable this morning. I guess it is a good thing, that my body has adjusted, but man...this is not pleasent.

Question about BMR
My BMR says I burn 1388 calories a day by doing nothing. That's with my current weight, age and so forth. Now, if I eat 1200 calories, how is this going to help when you have to take off 3500 calories a week? I'm really confused. I'm sure the answer is quite simple; I'm just not getting it.
