Stress sabotage
I just need to vent. Every time I think I’m getting serious and working at me, some sort of family member has an emergency that I stress eat over.

Low fodmap
Hi everyone. I am new here so just familiarising myself with the app. However, I was looking at the recipes section and the app itself and there is nowhere that can help me with LOW FODMAP recipes or if I can add this

80 pounds lighter, 5 years wiser ;)
I thought it was about time to post these. I've been a MFP member since 2013, but I'd say my weight loss story began in earnest in 2015. My starting weight was 206, and I'm down to 127. As a 5'2" female, that's taken me from a size 18 to a size 4. The journey was slow going at times, including one major 20 pound relapse,…

2020: Not A Complete Waste
Inspired by a Facebook friend, I ran the numbers for 2020. I’ve walked 6,835,720 steps this year and walked or run 3395 miles. I squatted 165, benched 155 (coming from zero, so I’m pleased). I’ve averaged at least one mat class a day in 2020. I love Pilates roll-ups and tick-tocks now. I’ve achieved headstand, many…

A Different Kind of Success-- 1 Year Free From ED
Tomorrow marks a different kind of success for me, one year free from purging. It's been a long year, but I am so proud of what I have accomplished! I've been on MyFitnessPal for years and I hope that my cautionary tale will help others avoid some of the dieting pitfalls that led me to an eating disorder (ED). Like many…

Day 90/365 Day Challenge Progress
90 days ago I saw a picture of myself with my husband and I decided I needed to get healthy for myself and my family. I challenged myself to workout everyday for at least 30 minutes for 365 days and today was day 90. I'm wishing I would have taken measurements since I can see the inches are coming off but the weight loss…

Down 100lbs!! 435lbs to 335lbs
I didn’t know if I’d get here but I was so determined and I did it! After 2 years on this journey and the ups and downs. The giving up and coming back to it. I still got a long way to go but I’m celebrating my process so far! I’ve done this without surgery too! 💪🏽😊

I lost over 100lbs and kept off for 4 years
It's been a very long time since I last posted on this forum. Truth is I didn't need to use this site after I had learnt a few things about the things I had to unlearn ...if that makes sense. Almost five years ago, I weighed 255lbs and I had a hard time with losing weight as we all do. To cut a long story short, I wasn't…

Surprising Christmas gift: goal weight!
This was such a surprise, but I weighed in at my goal weight of 75.0kg this morning. I have not been eating within my calorie goal for the last few days; nor have I been doing my usual exercise, but this morning that last pound is gone! I know it is likely to be back, and I won't count myself as being properly in…

Down 40 pounds since April 2020!

Hello 👋☺️ I am new to the community and hoped to connect with all you pros out there! I had a set back months ago and I am back on the mat, doing a yoga for weight loss programme to get into the rythm of things. Grateful to be healthy and motivated to commit and trust the process... 💕 All the best, Sonia

Reverse diet repair
I've been working with my trainer since the beginning of September. When I went to him, I was consuming under 1200 calories a day, IF 24-36 hours- so some days i consumed 800-1000 calories, no to little carbs (under 25g), I was ketovore for over a year. I worked out 1-3× a week, spin classes. I weighed 150lbs, 5'ft tall. 3…

Good morning MFPs!! I have finally crossed my 2nd goal!! I started this weight-loss journey at 270lbs. My 1st goal was to get halfway to 200lbs, which I met at 235lbs. My 2nd goal was to get halfway to my UGW of 190lbs, which I met this morning weighing in at 229lbs! That puts me at 41lbs down!!! I'm so happy, excited,…

Mine is NOT a Success Story
My story is an underdog hero's journey. I am the unlikely person to overcome overwhelming odds to not only help myself by also aspire to help others. Success would mean I am done. I am just getting started. Starting at class 3 obesity, because that is as high as it goes, I was a highly disabled person. Standing for more…

My first push up
At the beginning of 2019 I decided I wanted to be able to do a push up and a pull up. I have been working consistently towards both of those goals. Today the first push up was achieved! Something good has come out of 2020. 2021 will be the year of the pull up.
