Over 60 pounds down from 228 to 168!! Pics pics pics!
Hi MFP family. I have been on here since 2008 I believe, lurking, watching peoples success stories, and peeking through their diet journals. All without ever implementing any of what I was learning. I cheated, not faithfully logging the bad things I would eat. My weight went up and down but never did I ever take control of…

Any Leslie Sansone Success Stories?
I accidently posted this in the exercise section but I'll post it again here. I started using Leslie Sansone dvd's about a month ago and love them. I was wanting to know if anyone out there has any success stories to share to keep me motivated? How much did you lose and how long did it take you?

I went through my old "fat clothes"!
We are moving into a new house and so we are going through everything. I went through all my clothes the other night. Now being down 76 pounds I haven't seen those old "fat clothes" in a very long time. Wow I cannot believe how big I was, and how big my clothes were. I saw my favorite fat shirt I used to wear. It was a…

22 pounds since June
46 year old male here, six foot two and change. Was a successful MFP user before, went 'off the wagon' somewhat over the last couple years, needed to re-tighten the ship (particularly since my back problems have been getting bad again). Now back to 208 lbs, with daily cardio and light body weight excercises to maintain…

My Greatest Success? Cheating.
Good evening from windy London, MFP Community, I hope you're keeping well and that finding this post goes some way to helping you on your fitness journey. My own progress has - from the outside - probably looked pretty good. I've always been in control of my diet and my weight. I spent some time increasing my size and…

A bit of motivation for all beginners out there
I just entered my weight and for some reason went to check when was my first check in and it was on December 2012. It's been 7.5 years now. Wow. I'm 39, 6,0 and at that time was about 200 lbs. I was thicc. Nowadays I fluctuate between 158 and 165 lbs, currently at 159. When I first decided that I had to deal with my crap…

So, I went to the Dr. a year ago today and the news was terrible!
I was 100 lbs overweight, my cholesterol was high, my blood pressure was high (even with 2 pills) , and worst of all, I was now pre-diabetic. This wasn't really a shock to me, as I was on a downward health spiral for 16 plus years, with the last 5 being the worst. I was so miserable and unhealthy in both body and mind, I…

On a tear again
I lost some 72-73 pounds which of course very happy with. I hit the low of 199 last June, as of June 2019. I then upped my calories figuring I would lose the last bit of weight [10-15] pounds very slowly. What ended up happening is I stayed the same, bouncing around between 199 and 204 till just a few weeks ago. Yeah over…

Just Say “NO” to 40
About 8 years ago I did a “Just say NO to 30 post”. I had just turned 30 and I was smoking a pack a day and in the worst shape of my life. Turned that all around and got really fit. 4 years into being healthy and fit I injured my back and could not get it recovered. A year ago I was convinced to do physical therapy couples…

I'm now 55 and trying to gracefully accept where I am and be content.. I would love to lose another 10 lbs but I'm good if I don't. But I have to watch…

Update: Almost 60 lbs of weight loss since 3/21/2019!
I originally posted my story under "ESRD Fighter." - 238 is my starting weight - 182 is my current weight. I gained muscle mass and overall cardio health through my regimen, even through 4 months in quarantine. I was able to walk that fine line between weight loss and muscle gain: EXERCISE - I just did bodyweight…

H1C from 9 to 6.5 in three months.
Three months ago, my doctor got my attention by telling me my H1C had leapt up to 9. I hauled out a dusty glucose monitor and discovered my blood sugar was in the mid-300s. Since then, I've been losing weight at about 1.5 pounds/week and lost 25 pounds so far. I've also started exercising 5 to 6 days per week. And,…

Sleeve Surgery success stories please?
I just had surgery this week. Had 2-3 people I know tell me it was the best thing they ever did, they've lost about 100 lbs, and they would do it again in a heartbeat. But looking in Fitnesspal.... I mostly just see posts from people talking about how it has failed. How they have gained so much weight back. And it seems…

100 pounds 1 year
I did. I hit 100 pounds RIGHT at one year!! I did it 💯 natural. No pills, no surgery, all me. Just fasting! I eat every other day only lunch and dinner. I'm sure that sounds extreme to some, but if u look up benefits of fasting and autophagy you would see why I chose this route. I love it so much!! If you stick with what…

Broke into the 370s!
I cross posted this on the notification threads as well, but hey, I feel like it’s a success story for me, even if it’s not my ultimate success! I stepped on the scale this morning to a new decade! 370s and 55 pounds down! A ways to go to hit my goal of 205 (I’m 6’4) but it’s nice to see success. It helps me to keep…

Woah, we're half way there!
Its been a while since I put anything on here At the start of this year I had reached a weight I was incredibly unhappy with, All of my xxl clothes were getting tight, and my BMI had crept up to over 36% In January, after many attempted starts of this journey something seemed to 'click' I always think the hardest shift is…
