Help! Not Enough Morning/Day Calories!
I looked up my BMR a few weeks back and in order for me to not go into starvation mode and for me to also have enough energy to do my Turbo Fire workouts, I am supposed to eat around 1800-2400 calories a day. The VERY BARE MINIMUM someone at my weight should be eating every day (my BMR) is 1600. But I am only eating about…

Overeating from what!?
I tend to eat, eat, and eat. As a result, Ive gained 7 lbs since the new year. Not much, sure, but its unnecessary. This past weekend I caught myself eating anything and everything in sight. Why? Am I lacking nutrients? What foods can I eat to satisfy my hunger?

I love pizza so....
I invented a low calorie pizza last night. I used a 100 cal whole wheat wrap for the crust. I found a roasted tomato paste that is 50 cal per 2 tbls. 1/3 cup finely shredded mozz cheese is 80 cal, 1/4 cup feta cheese is 80 cal and thinly slized veggies to top. Preheat oven (with pizza stone if you have one) to 450. The…

Ok, so I saw the protein pudding ads in the magazines but that stuff ain't cheap. So I hunted around the internet and came up with what I like. Tried it and it's phenomenal. my outcomes of going gluten-free...
Hey guys, So I have been *mostly* gluten free for the past month. No bread, no pastas, no pizza. I have changed my diet in a few other ways by also avoiding red meat more and adding more chia seeds, sunflower seeds and upping protein. I am not intolerant to anything, no allergies. I still have sauces (some of which have…

Blood Type Diet
Just wondering if anybody on MFP is a follower of the “Eat Right For Your Blood Type”? I discovered it about two weeks ago and believe in the science behind this way of eating. And for months of not seeing the scale move – it’s started to finally move following the guidelines for my blood type. Who knew that for my blood…

What kind of fish can I replace canned tuna with?
I'm looking to replace canned tuna in my diet because I eat it most days of the week, which isn't a great thing because of the mercury. I'm looking to replace it with something on a similar level (low fat, high protein, omega 3, etc) but without the mercury levels and that's safe enough to be eaten pretty regularly.…

Almond Yogurt!
And by exclamation mark I mean gross. http://amandeyogurt.com/ It was an interesting experiment. I got the strawberry kind. Why should I track carbs?
I have carbs on my tracking report, but I don't know why I should. MFP suggested it so I allowed the default. I am fairly certain my diet is a good one, but I am still not confident. How to measure my food
I'm having some trouble with measuring food and being able to appropriately log it. For example I just had some edamame. I looked it up and the options that were given to me were 100g, 1g, or 150g. I thought i ate about 1/4 a cup but didn't really know how to log that so I knew the nutritional value I receive. I'm having…

What a diet costs in reality, What do you pay per week?
Whilst the word ‘Diet’ is used to for me to lose weight, unfortunately it does not mean cost savings by far, in fact my shopping bill has risen a little, the obvious benefits are there when on a diet, but for me, it has hit the pocket a little.
