calorie and nutrition intake during injury recovery
hi. I fractured my wrist 2 days ago and I've cutting down on my calorie intake because I won't be so active anymore. i usend to run at least 15miles a week. Question: should i up my calorie intake for speedier recovery? what should i eat more/avoid fo recovery faster from the fracture?

low carb food/snacks
Besides fruits and veggies, any recommendations for low carb foods, more importantly, a snack at the end of the day that doesn't take 3 bites to eat! I eat great during the day, including dinner. It's after dinner, when I'm relaxing watching tv, I'm thinking of eating something.

Calories per meal
I am eating about 1300 cals a day - not counting my exercise cals - how do you split up your calories during the day? I am eating about 300-400 cals for breakfast, 200-300 cals at lunch, 200-300 cals for pm snack and 500 cals for dinner. How do you guys split them up?

For those of you who don't like drinking water...
Fun tip: you could try adding various fruits/veggies to the water jug and letting them infuse. My favourite is cucumber water :-) I personally like just normal, cold water, but for those who struggle to get their 8 glasses in, this might help!

Salt- who makes up these recommended numbers?
Does anyone know how much sodium (salt) should one have? I've had what I think is a really salty meal and when I checked the macros on MFP it said I had half the amount it set me 2500mg for the day and according to the Nutrient information I had around 231mg for the day with 2269 left over. Do people not log fruit and vegetables?
I view a lot of diaries that day after day list absolutely NO fruit or veggies. Do people just not bother to log them because they are considered healthy or do people really just not eat them?

The best diet tip...
is not to diet! Its amazing, ive lost 9lbs in 2 weeks but not trying to diet but more to use MFP to watch my calorie consumption. I still have crisps one a day, still have a fizzy drink etc as long as it fits in with my calories. I would never restrict any foods as i know i wouldnt be able to stick with it in the long run.…

Hungry if I eat dinner late
I find that if I eat my dinner late in the evening I'm always starving the following morning and want to eat more that just my porridge for breakfast. Does anyone else have this problem? Is there a scientific reason why this happens or am I just a bit odd? thanks Aoife
