Just curious, tonight we went to a pennsylvania dutch flea market, and they had one of my all time favorite food items: mushrooms. Not sure how to describe them... basically they have mushrooms sitting in hot buttery water. You purchase a dish, and you basically just get a pile o mushrooms, and a little toothpick to eat…

Why does everyone seem not to eat enough?(Friendly thread)
I am just curious because I see a lot of people with very strict caloric intake values. I am seeing a lot of total calorie counts around 1200 per day if not less. I also see people only eating small amounts of carbs, protein and fats. I am just wondering if anyone would like to share more information about these…

Probably didn't eat enough today, because it's late and I'm hungry! My calories were only a tick over 1000, and not enough protein. Should I just go to bed, or eat something and risk it settling on my thighs since it's so late?

Dissapointed in myself
So I'm in a unique situation. Most people on here are trying to lose weight. Well, I've been there, I started at 235, and with MFP over about a year and a half, I dropped about 55 lbs, went down from about 20 % body fat to where I am now, about 10%, and have lowered all my bad blood numbers a ton, while increasing my…

Cookies actually lasted over a week in my cabinet!
That never happens! Cookies don't usually last a day around me! I am amazed I was able to only eat one or two at a time and not the whole box in one sitting! I hid them in a cabinet I usually don't go into, so I didn't see them and have to avoid them all the time. Once, I even forgot they were there, and THAT really never…

Starvation Mode??
Can someone more smarter than me explain 'starvation mode' to me? Will this put one in a situation were weight loss slows or stops?
