Fruits
I absolutely love summer fruits, such as melons and plums. I also get very bored with said fruits. Does anyone have any ideas to mix things up differently and how I could use them in everyday recipes? Thank you!!!

My SIL gave me a box of dried hummus mix to try. You add 1 1/2 cups warm water and 3 Tbs of olive oil. over on carbs
The last couple days I've stayed under on calories and fat, but I've gone over on carbs (46 grams one day, 19 another). How bad is that? I know if I went over by that much in calories it wouldn't be a big deal, but I am not sure in terms of carbs.

Question about cooking
If you're making a dish at home, say chicken, and you marinate the meat how does that afffect the calorie value of the meat? You don't eat most of the marinade? How do you count that in the recipe?:huh:

Ok, so today I hurt my back, so I have been grabbing snacks all day..............did not eat anything bad for me, but OD'd on mixed nuts and dried cranberries....but I need food food now nand I have 86 cals left....has anyone else ever done this? :huh:

LOW fat, low cal lunches and snacks? Over the last few months I have been eating MorningStar veggie burgers topped w/ red peppers, onions, carrots and a low cal dressing all wrapped up in lettuce or cabbage leafs. :smile: I think I need some new ideas... i stayed within my calories but.... i used all my dinner calories on beer. i'm not that hungry but i feel bad for being so unhealthy. i'm a drunkorexic today :(

More than a few times i have ended up with about 400 calories left but about 5 fat left... what do you do? make sure you eat the calories, or when you go over your fat just leave the calories and not eat anymore? Im not sure if i should be sticking within the fat strictly or making sure i use my calories.. thanks :smile:
