Burger Bonanza! Best Bets Vs. Meaty Monstrosities...
If you EVER eat burgers out, you NEED to take a look at this fairly comprehensive list of nutritionals from a bazillion restaurant chains (fast food and sit-down). It may shock you. It may FREAK you out. And it may pleasantly surprise you (though that last one isn't likely). In any case, you have to find out how many…

Protein too high
I've only just noticed (duh!) that while my overall calories are fine and my fat intake is also fine, my protein intake is way up. Can anyone tell me what are the consequences of this? cheers, Kali13.

How many calories...
Should we eat, at the most, in one meal? I just had a burger and tots, and apparently inhaled about 900 calories. I worked out hard today so I didn't even come close to going over my max, but i worry about eating too much in one sitting.

buffalow wild wings
We're going to Bdubs tonight and I am trying to figure out what to get. I've decided that the naked tenders aren't too bad (40 calories for one) even though I LOVE the breaded tenders....but I'm trying to be good. Getting french fries on the side will be too many calories, but I don't think four tenders will be enough to…

Low Fat, Low Sodium, High Protein, All Natural Food

Confused about calories...
Hey all! I can't wrap my brain around MFP's suggested calorie intake system. As i lose weight, i've been adjusting my goals so that my 'new' bmr is taken into account. But the thing is, I don't think it is? I've had a suggested intake of 1200 cals since I started MFP (12 lbs ago, and I've lost about 15 lbs overall). Is it…

diet soda?
I have a diet rootbeer weakness....it is the only soda I drink and I allow myself only one a day. Problem is, I "use" it as a dessert. I hear so many stories on diet soda and weight gain. Just wondering if anyone thinks this is a problem. I don't eat dessert - just drink the rootbeer (am in bed about an hour later).

Dairy...
I am sure this has come up before.....but my issue is dairy. Now, I know it's super important to get it in. However, when I drink milk and consume a moderate amount of dairy products I tend to "puff up." My face gets rounder, I am more....squishy....all over. So, here is my issue....how can I still get the benefits of…

Water v. Crystal Light
YES, that old chestnut. Sorry to bring it up AGAIN. My head is swimming. I drink a lot of diet pop. I recently discovered the Crystal Light On the Go packets and think "hey, great, I can drink more water this way." But I have read posts here and on other sites (and been lectured by Pit-master Ali) that this is no good.…

caloric loss confussion
i'm still a bit confused how everyone calculates their caloric loss after exercise. my question is the system subtracts just the calories lost, but how to do u modify the nutrients and carbs and such? for example, if i ate 25 g of fiber today and then worked out and lost 300 calories and it was deducted from the daily…

stupid about carbs
I am already over on my carbs for the day (I already logged what I am having for dinner), but I'm wondering if some of them are good carbs or should I be worried? Ok so obviously I know the rice, tortilla wrap and cereal I had today would be loaded with carbs, but I was rather shocked about my milk, canned peaches and…
