I need Help!
I have a business luncheon today at a local Greek Restaurant, but everything I look up (calorie-wise) to eat at that restaurant is WAY up there, it would leave me chewing on cardboard for dinner! But I am required to go, have lunch, be social for the sake of the pharmacuetical reps. that are taking us! Im…

Interesting New Nutrition Site
Here's a new Nutrition Site I discovered today. http://www.bzzagent.com//p/1778541529/gafergus It lets you analyze food or recipes (which I've seen on other sites), but something I haven't seen before is finding foods a nutrient or nutrients. For example: looking up foods with Beta Carotene - Sweet Peppers rate higher than…

homemade foods
Is there a particular place to "create" a nutritional label for homemade foods? I roasted some veggies tonight w/ evoo and balsalmic vinegar and it is difficult to break it down per serving. I am probably getting a little to obsessed with the calories....I'd just like to know. So if anyone has a website, please…

Which parameter matters most?
I almost always stick to my calorie limit. However, some days I notice I'm over on either my protien (last night I had a 5oz piece of chicken, and my cottage cheese for breakfast alone put me way over) or on carbs. That being said, my calories and fat are never over. Which parameter is the most important to stick to, and…

Sodium
I switched my profile over to show sodium instead of fat. Shocker! About 1/2 the time I'm close to the recommended, but the other 1/2 the time I'm hugely over! Yikes. And the kicker is I've always avoided excess salt. Before I met my husband I didn't use salt on anything and now I still rarely do. I buy reduced sodium…

what's for dessert???
My husband wants to go to the grocery store and get a slice of THE BEST cake with frosting - I'm sure it must have about 1000 calories per slice, so does anyone have any other ideas for me (around 250 calories?) that I can get that's already baked/made from a grocery store?

Weight loss 1200 calories or less
Ok i have just heard that MFP wont let you go any lower that 1200 calories a day. MFP calculated that i need to eat 1200 calories a day to lose weight. I have 71 pounds to lose. So as my weight goes down shouldnt i need to re-calculate my calories. If this is the case i would go lower than the 1200 cals which i dont think…

CHANGING CALORIES QUESTIONS
Okay, so I need this to be idiot proof. Right now MFP says I am to be eating about 2,000 calories per day. I am losing weight. Most days I am a little less than the 2000, occasionally a little more. Do the number of calories change as I lose. . .why. . .how does it work. If this question has been answered a hundred times,…

Anyone else slightly scared by their maintain calories?
I just found out my maintain calories for when I reach my goal weight - they're only 1430 a day! I'm eating about that amount now (though some are my exercise calories so I should be losing, albeit slowly), and this has really brought it home that this way of eating is for LIFE. Never will I be able to go back to eating…

Is it considered cheating??
I stick to my 1200 calories during the week. On the weekends, if I have something going on, I stick to my calories needed to maintain. (The extra 500) I've always said I'll never go on a diet because the minute I say I can't have something, I'm doomed from the begining. I was in NYC for a yankees game and you betcha I got…

Ravenous Nights
I've noticed that some days after a really, really heavy workout session, I have this horrible sense of hunger. Its not thirst, I'm genuinely hungry (I drank about a quarter gallon of water) - even with eating a bunch of peanut butter. Anyone know why this happens? I ended up going significantly over on calories last night…

Little support from significant other
My boyfriend offers little support for my weight loss goals. He tries, bless his heart. But he's just one of those guys that can eat whatever he wants, whenever, never workout and never gain an ounce. He's really not that interested in getting healthy either, I have tried. I get really frustrated sometimes when I am trying…

Forever on my mind...
I know I need to log my food or I lose control of what I eat. My problem is that after a few days of logging I start to feel like I am constantly thinking about food. What to eat next?
