Ate all my calories before dinner! Should i Skip?
Hi everyone, I've had a dilemma last night. Yesterday, i rushed to the community centre for my circuits class, but it was cancelled. It was terrible because i already banked the 500 calories from that class in the afternoon and had 2 pieces of cake, so if i didn't do that class, i wouldn't have enough calories to eat…

Food Fakers! More TERROR in the Aisles...
I know alot of you are fond of Trader Joe's products... I'm just passing along some info so don't shoot the messenger:ohwell: It's so annoying when a product tries to appear "light" or "healthy" when clearly it's NOT. Or when something as seemingly innocent as a bottle of WATER contains almost as many calories as can of…

TRANS FAT...EWWWW.
Just so you all know...food manufactures can sneak up to half a gram of TRANS FAT into all of their prodcuts without putting it in the nutrition information on the label. (Even those ever-so-popular 100 calorie packs!) ALWAYS, ALWAYS, ALWAYS check the ingredients for any kind of HYDROGENATED OILS...they're TRANS FAT...and…

The importance of a good night's sleep . . .
I ran across this article while procrastinating on a paper :ohwell: , it made me wonder how many people on this site actually don't get enough sleep . . . Fat in nuts
So lately I've been filling up on nuts and avocados between meals. I'm not like gorging or anything, but I do have a couple of servings a day. This is usually pushing me all the way up to my allotted fat and sometimes over. I know that there are all of these studies about nuts and that they don't really make you gain…

I thought it was supposed to be healthier?
Okay, so I got myself a nice start to this morning. I made a stop to Subway and got one of their breakfast omelet wraps. I think that might have been a big mistake. Loaded with sodium, high protien (might be okay) saturated fats, and a lot of calories (for a breakfast item). Between that, lowfat milk and a yogurt I have…
