Happy to be Overweight!
It's taken over a year (I began my fitness journey in February 2010), but, as of this morning, I am now in the "overweight" BMI category, rather than the "obese" category!!! I couldn't be happier about this!!! Just had to share. :)

My small success story
Today after a good workout and healthy breakfast I was feeling pretty good about myself and decided to try on some of my old summer clothes. To my amazement my old favorite pair of size 4 American Eagle skinny jeans fit perfectly! I am feeling better and better about summer coming every day :)

My Weight Loss
I have only been using myfitness pal for 27 days, and most of them I was suffering from a cold. However, I was able to go on walks and have started back going to the gym. I did my first night of couch to 5k and I feel great! Exhausted but great! In the last month and a half I lost 10lbs using MFP and cutting out ALL soda and a lot of bread I was eating. ( I still eat some but not nearly what I was.) I feel great and can't wait to see the running increase my progress!

Reversing the tide.....17 lbs. lost with pics
Been tracking on MFP since January, both food and exercise. Not being too militant about this but am seeing good results. NSV's: gym towels can now stay around me with holding on, down from 44 inch waist pants to 40 inch, new belt holes being used. Thanks to the MFP community for the ongoing inspiration.
