29 pounds lost since August... wanna know what I'm doing?
As someone who has spent years kinda yo-yo dieting and not being able to stay very focused, I can relate to what a lot of the people who use this site are going through. About 3-4 months before my 30th birthday, I set out to lose "30 by 30". Well, I got off to a late start, and that didn't happen. But the age of 30 did…

I cheated...
and weighed myself today... In 10days I've lost 7 lbs!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I can't believe it. I haven't wanted to eat crap and I've enjoyed exercising. I am disgusted at the thought of what I used to eat and how lazy I was. It must have been pretty vile to be able to lose 7lbs that quickly. But, I'm on the right track now so…

10 down, many more to go
SOOO people! What's with this 'MFP' rewarded me for my ten pounds thing? MFP DID NOT REWARD ME FOR LOSING TEN POUNDS. Neither did it penalize me. haha. ANYWAY. First ten are gone, only 70 more to go. My next goal is 11lbs, because in another 11lbs I'll be overweight instead of obese. OH, and my resting heart…

Hooray 4 miles today!!

REALLY did not want to do it...
But I did!! I woke up this morning knowing on my one day off from work how many errands I had to get done and that I would not be able to exercise until late afternoon. Being a morning exerciser, this is tough for me. So, I ran my errands, came home and ate lunch, and time kept creeping forward and I still had not worked…

Sometimes being lazy pays off
Around here Denny's retsuarant is having a promotion today, a free grand slam breakfast between 6am and 2:30pm. My breakfast usually consists of fruit or cereal or granola bars and stuff at my desk, so when my brother suggested we go before work I figured why not. I usually get up at 7 (and not happy about it at that ) so…

Completely off topic...but a success story none the less...
... My 2 year old poo'd on the potty today for the first time!!!!! I'm so excited! She's been wee'ing on it for about a week now and I thought it would be months before we mastered the poo but she came through and told me she'd done a wee on the potty and there was a poo there. The clever little thing had managed to do it…

ITS WORKING!
SO TODAY WAS MY FIRST OFFICIAL WEIGH IN, AND IM DOWN 2 LBS. I KNOW, NOT MUCH, BUT I SAW THE SCALE MOVE, THATS ALL THAT MATTERS. I MEASURED AND I HAD LOST 1/2 IN IN MY WAIST AND HIPS. I WAS A LITTLE HESITANT BECAUSE I HAD A FEW BAD DAYS THIS WEEK BUT, I TRIED TO MAKE UP FOR IT AT THE GYM.

My Husband and I
Ok o my DH is not the most motivated person. i can't get him out for walks and he won't join the gym. BUT I did get him on this sight and for him it has been good. In just one week of whatching how much he eats and paying attention to calories he has lost 2 pounds. He was so excited this morning to tell me. And we cheated…

I did it!
So, I am really not a runner. I do a lot of other physical acitvity, but I have always hated running. Since I joined the gym I have been trying to incorporate some sprints on the treadmill. Last week I did 2 quarter mile sprints and was really excited. Then today I decided to hit the treadmill after I got through with my…
