Dad bod to fit Dad
Hey guys, I thought I'd share my success story. Years of unhealthy habits and bad choices finally piled up on me this last Winter. I got up to my highest weight of around 218lbs. I felt awful. Bloated, lethargic, headaches, the whole nine. My wife and I decided to make an investment in ourselves for once and bought a…

6 months - 41lbs down
This past weekend I reached 6 months of this diet/exercise lifestyle change, and I'm down 41 lbs! The weight loss has definitely slowed as I get closer to a healthy weight and have added weight lifting for the past 1.5 months, but I feel so much better. I'm really excited to see how much I'll change in another 6 months and…

32kgs down!
*THE NEW ME* ( my weight loss story ) The last 5 years I have been up and down with my weight, well to be honest my whole life. In 2014 I was at my skinniest but I was eating close to nothing a day and would starve myself which was mentally and physically not healthy at all! From 2014 to early 2019 I managed to put on 40…

Eating right and working out.
Not only is eating right important to a healthy, balanced life, so is working out! When I added aerobics to my life last November, I had no idea how it could help transform my look!! Two hours per week has been very beneficial on my journey! #sundayfunday #wellnesssunday

Inspiration & Motivation
I’m seriously lacking in both inspiration and motivation. I cannot count how many times I’ve stopped and started for various reasons along the way. What has been your inspiration and motivation to lose and keep the weight off? What was your ‘click’ moment?

ANOREXIA ALMOST KILLED ME.
my recent journey into recovery has been one the proudest, most difficult accomplishment of my life. the hardest part was recognizing that i had a problem. it was only when i fainted while exercising that i became fully aware of the power and control this condition had over my life and me. it wasn’t until my weight started…

Down 62.3 lbs since May 12th. Feeling Great!!
Just returned home from a 10 day vacation and was terrified of what the scale might read. I stayed under calorie goal and carb count every single day but getting out of the routine was frightening. Stepped on the scale yesterday and weighed in at 333.6. Started the journey on May 12 at 395.9. My wife has been doing…

6 month skinny fat photos
I have always thought of myself as a skinny fat person, with no muscle and little definition. Often people mistake me for being skinny when I wear a baggy shirt. However, truth is I was slightly overweight. 6 months ago i started going to the gym and eating clean. I have lost 22 pounds and my journey has just begun.

Will I stop having cankles?
Everyone's before and after photos tend to cut off their ankles and feet so it's hard to tell if there's a trend. I have cankles and I'm dying to know if I'll ever be able to wear a dress! So, success story people, if you were obese and had cankles, did they improve when you got to a healthy weight?

No Weight Loss for 10 days.. then Woosh!
I started my diet and exercise journey 20 days ago, going from 244pounds to 233 In roughly 9 days. I thought oh my gosh, this is so easy. Just eat right and exercise and I'm going to burn it off like nothing! I've been sticking to my diet of 1400-1600 calories a day, measured and working out a minimum of 40 minutes a day…

Going to the doctor for the first time and they didn’t say you need to lose weight 😭
This is kind of big for me... I went to the doctor this last week and usually, I always get told “you would be healthier if you lost weight” or “losing weight would prevent all of this”. Well, for the first time, the doctor didn’t say anything in reference to my weight... that felt soooo good! If I could give any advice on…

Breaking that plateau
I started off weighing more than 207lbs. but, I cannot say for certain how big I got because at one point I was to embarrassed to step on my bathroom scale. But seven months in & I am down to 163lbs. The first plateau I hit was 180, & I hadn’t even officially started my conquest of weight loss. Every 5 pounds seems to be a…

Because of Weight loss...
Because of the weight loss of 10 kilos in the last six months, I've finally got a low enough Blood pressure reading I no longer need to take medication for it. While I still need to monitor for the coming weeks of no medication, I'm thrilled after 4 years to finally lose enough weight that it's enough not to need them.…

6'1 - 6'3 Guys. Goal Weights?
I'm 6'2, and according to the science guys, the healthy weight range for someone my height is between 194 and 145 lbs. That is a huge range and I'm trying to get an idea of what's realistic. On 1 Sept 2018, I was 257 lbs and by 2 March 2109, I was 193lb, which when I started seemed like a very long way away, and was a…

Down 60 lbs, Ways to go but pretty damn pumped
Hello all, just showing progress in an effort to push someone who is just starting to get into all this. This is day 217 in a row of logging into MFP for me and I am down about 60lbs by basically just following my macros and calories strict on a lower carb diet, not quite keto (macros= 10% carbs, 35% protein, 55% fats) and…

I fit in 10s today
Its been 18 to 20 years since i was wearing 10s. Today i had some spare time so i thought i would go try on those 12s that were to snug a month and a half ago. Not only did they fit but they had a little wiggle room so i went back out and grabbed a few 10s. They looked so small. But i figured try them on at least you'll…
