what causes you to lose inches over weight? Does strength training make you lose more inches (look "leaner and more fit") and cardio make you lose the fat (the weight)? Calories on machine compared to here?
Kind of a confusing title I know. So I do the Elliptical at the gym, I was on it for 10 mins, so the calorie counter on the machine there said 87 calories.. When I input on this site (like before I went to the gym) it's saying the elliptical for 10 mins is 100+ calories burned, which is right? ???

Can anyone explain to me how I can log (for example) 20 mins of strength training, under the cardio section, and only burn 9 calories?? Is that possible, and if so, how?
