strength training versus cardio...
okay so when i go to the gym i do a ton of cardio and it counts whenever i put it in on my exercise diary... but when i put in the pushups or arm machine i did for cardio it doesnt count for my calories.. ? why is this?? i see some people's profiles that say so and so burned 300 calories doing strength training. why wont…

Exercise cals - do I subtract normal activity
quick question. If I normally use up say fifty cals in half an hour doing nothing much, when I burn off 200 cals doing exercise do I need to take off the fifty I would normally burn, so my actual cals earned through exercise is 150 ? Does that make sense ? So take off 50 I use in just living.
