Walking for weight loss
Any one here use walking as their main source of cardio? Dose it work for real weight loss? Do you see serious body improvements? I've been walking for the past couple weeks as my main source and wanted to see what other people have done to succeed.

at half price bookstore!!!! they have a really good selection of dvd's and i found this on a clearance shelf! its the 2005 version but i will take it:) they also had a small fitness section, not too big but still ok. sidenote: i also got the movie 'stepmom' for $2!

I am loving this class! The instructor had a calorie counter on during our 1 hour class. She said she burned over 6oo calories. When I logged in the exercise, it said 268 colories. That is a huge difference. Which one is correct?

I did 30 minutes on the elliptical this morning wearing a heart rate monitor. I have a pretty top quality machine so it puts in my age, weight, yada yada yada.
