1st Workout
Okay, everyone wish me luck. Going to my first workout of many many to come. I have joined to GYMS... 1) My regular GYM (La Fitness) 2) PlanetFitness($10 per month) which is near where I work. For a lunchtime workout. (which is a first ever for me). A long road ahead, but a few baby steps help :)

Gonna try it tonight for the first time....I love to dance salsa and merengue and actually anything :laugh: is it like that? dancing? or more like aerobics......I'm really excited...I normally run for my exercise so I'm thinking this will be fun! would love to hear what those who've tried it think of it....:drinker:

Swim with HRM?
I have come to the conclusion that in order to have any idea what my metabolism is doing I need to get a HRM. I do interval training, free weights, elliptical and SWIMMING! Are there any HRMs that work for swimming or am I still going to have to estimate that particular exercise?

Anyone know a good low impact cardio routine to do at home?
I have a hip injury that is preventing me from running (which I love). I was just checking to see if anyone knows of a low impact cardio workout that I can do at home with out equipment. I'm at a loss when I cant get to the gym to do spinning or the elliptical. Thanks!

I've upped my mileage---5.5 Miles!!
I recently completed a 5K and knew that I had it in me to run more but mentally was nervous. I completed 4 miles last weekend and today I finished 5.5. It was so exciting! I actually felt great after mile 3!! Cant wait to keep upping my mileage to see how far I can go!! :)
