So I feel like I really want to push myself the next couple of days in my workout. Just to throw off my body a little. I always have pretty good workouts, but I feel like my body is starting to get use to the routine...or maybe I'm just getting sick of the same routine. Anyway, my gym has different classes at 5:30pm. Walking with Heart Rate Monitor
I walk 3 miles a day. I wear a Heart Rate Monitor. The route I take has many hills and flat areas. So depending which way I walk I will have steep or gradual inclines, followed by flat street and then some steep or gradual declines. I try to stay within the zone (60%-70%) as much as possible but depending on whether or not…

Kickboxing
Hello Everyone, Each week at the gym I take a "box and burn" class- much like an aerobics + kickboxing class for 45 minutes. I was wondering if anyone could approximate how many calories that burns? I know the best way would be a heart rate monitor, but I'm just a broke college student :( Thanks!

How often can one work the core and abs?
My trainer has been giving me reps to do on the captain's chair. I do these twice a week, when I work out with him, but I've read that you can and should work the ab muscles everyday. So, should I try to do the captain's chair on my own when I do my cardio workouts? Basically, was just wondering if the abs need to rest…

Looking for a new workout
My wife and I have been doing 30 Day Shred for about a month and a half pretty consistently. We have both lost weight and inches. We like that the workout is short (about 25 min with warmup and cool down) and that there are no breaks between sets, so it is pretty non-stop. Sometimes we do just one of the workouts,…
