I'm going to the gym with a friend this morning (hi you!), and I'm going to do water aerobics for the first time. What can I expect? It's fifty minutes long and I'm nervous about that. I'm taking along my glucometer just to be safe... but what is the workout like?

I am not understanding the calorie deficient thing. Ok I burn between 1100-1300 calories a day. What should I be consuming? how do I calculate what I need to burn off the pounds.I want to undertsand the calculator. I just stick to eating between 1200-1500 calories.

Shin Splints
I started running 2 miles every morning two weeks ago. I am struggling with shin splints. It's not enough to keep me from running just mild pain. I was wondering if anyone had any methods for easing the pain other than ibuprofen. I've had an ulcer and can't take it regularly.

How accurate is MFP in calculating calories burned? I just feel that it can sometimes be excessive.
