And I am feeling great, SORE, but great. I have already lost almost 3 lbs and a inch and a half off my waist and hips.. I cant wait for weeks 5-6 so see some real results.. In just one week I feel a whole lot better about myself wish me luck ill keep up my progress

I walked for 30 minutes in 15 minute intervals. But I don't know how many miles ( or if it even was a mile ) that I walked. How do I enter this on the excercise chart??? Walking at work??
I am fairly new, ok 2nd post,lol! I am a nurse so I am on the run for 12 hours, and I want to give myself some credit for this under exercise, but how? It isn't like a hard workout, that I can say I did for 30 minutes. Do any of you chart this and what is the best way to do so? Thanks so much!

MFP Runners Club 2/4
Preparing for my marathon in May. Just did a 5.5 mile temp run. 1 mile warmup, 3 miles at 7:54 min/mile, 1.5 mile cooldown. On the treadmill, but its better than not running at all. Plus, treadmill running for tempo runs and intervals is good for me because then I hit the right marks.

So i got in the mornings and work out with my sister. our gym dosent open till 5 and i have to be to work at 6 we work out for 20 min usualy cardio but not hard cardio i like to keep my heart rate in the fat burning area. soemtimes we will do 10 cardio and 10 weights and occasionaly we will do the whole 20 on weights. then…

Exercise Ball
Any ideas on what do with an exercise ball. I dug mine out of the closet, but just kind of looking at going "what do I do with that" lol!!! Or if there is a site that shows the exercises would be great. Trying to find different workouts to do at home, besides the dvd's. Thanks:flowerforyou:

Better all at once?
So say I want to run 3 miles a day. Is it better to run it all at once or would I get the same benefit if I ran 1.5 miles in the morning and 1.5 miles in the afternoon?

Burning calories Walking or Strengthening, what's the differ
Or is there. For example. If I walk for 1 hour and burn 600 calories or Do the Strength machines for 1 hour and burn 600 calories... Is there more value, per say, to the calories burned during strength training? I hope i explained myself correctly... :embarassed:

Running in the COLD
I live in Chicago and it was 24 degrees plus the wind shield brang the temp down. I could only take 23 minutes of running and I had to go inside. Since I have started this back in Feb 2008.. Ive lost inches everywhere except my neck! Its 15"! I've been doing the exercises on the "Firm Pilates" dvd, but I can't figure out how to put it in my exercise log. Pilates doesn't come up. Would I just put it under general aerobics, or does it burn less/more calories than that?

What Do You Do To Motivate Yourself
