Fast walk/jog vs elliptical
I am having a big issue with calories burned on elliptical vs walk/jog. I was burning 335 cals for 30 min on elip, but only 135 for walk./jog :sad: :sad: ( per MFP ) Doesnt make sense. My heart rate was HIGHER walk/jogging and I certainly felt like i was working harder.:grumble: Anyone have comments? :noway:

I have a mini trampette at home and have been doing 20 minutes upwards on it every day and am not entirely sure how many calories that burns. I've heard it burns as many as jogging but jogging is much, much harder! I'm 151 pounds. Rough idea anyone?

I ran my first 5K yesterday with a time of 26:25. I wanted finish in 22 -23 min, but I guess that is not a horrible time for only training for 2 weeks. Longer exercise sessions and more rest days?
If you exercised say, 6 hours a week but did 2 hours a day 3x/wk would that be okay versus 1 hour sessions 6x/wk? Would there be a difference in results from doing it one way or the other?
