Ongoing side ache...
I have had an ache in my right side, feels like it is right under my right rib. It has been an ongoing thing for about 2 weeks whenever I exercise...even lightly walking. As soon as I start walking I feel it. It is not intensely painful like other side aches I have gotten during running, it is just more annoying because it…

Exercise and BPM
Hi! My resting heartrate's 60/80 or 80/60 whichever way it goes! Just did half an hour of exercise and it's 120 bpm. this good enough for heart rate rise in relation to burning calories? Any info would be much appreciated! Thanks :flowerforyou:

Good Exercise Ideas?
I usually just walk 1hr a day at 2.5 mph. We have a gym (treadmill, oliptical, weight machines, and automatic stair stepper), a pool, and at home I have a hula hoop, punching bag, fairly spacious yard, jump rope, and firm bouncy ball possibly for sit ups. I also do the 8 minute abs, arms, legs, and buns from youtube. I…

Embarrassing topic
Hi everyone. I have a question about a slightly embarrassing topic. Actually, I have a really good sense of humor so joke away. So, I'm a man with some chest fat that forms in the shape of ... man boobs. Ok, so the problem is, when I'm on the treadmill, the "wobbly bits" begin to jiggle and there is a serious amount of…

Stronger, Better, Faster Challenge July 5th
Morning to all! Yesterday I ended up going to the gym twice. I went once for spinning, then had my session with the trainer (I was able to negotiate a once a week package I could afford. Hooray!) and then just "felt like doing more cardio". So, I did an additional 30 minutes on the elliptical. (I think part of the…

pedometer that talks :)
I have a new toy. It is a pedometer that talks. You can set it so you push a button to hear it or have it give you a progress report.............. "you have gone 3.5 miles" or "you have used 56 calories" or steps or how many minutes you walked. I love it. I was a big spender  at Wal-Mart and splurged.... $12…

Too much.
How much do ya'll consider "too much" exercise in one day? I love it and my boyfriend keeps telling me I need to slow it down or I'll be sorry because my body will hate me for it? I know I need a day of rest at least once a week and I have been doing that..but how much is too much?

Off Days?
Ok, I have this question..... There are some days that I can run forever and not get out of breath. Other days I can only run 15 mins then take a break. Why is that? Today I went for my run and I was completely off. I pushed myself to get thru it but it was tough. Then when I got home to do my crunches, I couldn't even do…

I was concerned about logging my jogging calories because I jogged so slow, well I fixed that today, I totally kicked but and was really running. How much did I burn? How do I know?
I am reading other's posts and seeing that alot of people are burning 400, 500 calories by exercise. I spent 30 minutes on my treadmill yesterday. 20 minutes was at a brisk pace, 5 minutes at a jog and another 5 minutes at a leisurely pace (trying to catch my breath) but only burned 165 calories. I was a puddle of sweat .…
