Whole v. 2% milk
According to the nutrition info on this site, whole milk has less cholesteral and sugar than 2% milk, and the same calories. Does anybody know if this is true? I've heard that whole milk is more satisfying to the system. If the numbers are better, I'll switch to whole milk.

Help! I need brown bag lunch ideas - no more drive thrus
Hi, For my work visiting hospice patients, I drive all over 4 counties on a regular basis. I need to start packing a lunch instead of hitting McD's or Taco Bell. I used to make myself a PB&J or pack leftover pizza or burritos, and I want to eat healthier. I need lunch ideas that I can pack into a cooler/lunch bag that…

What Do You Normally Eat ?
Hello, So, I'm looking to shake up my food plan a bit, since a lot of chocolate and fatty stuff has managed to sneak into my diet over Christmas, and I do fancy a bit of a change. So I was just wondering really, what is in a typical food diary for you ? Thanks :)

How to eat MORE, cleanly, while losing weight.
At the moment I'm struggling to eat as much as MFP and Fitbit suggest without feeling sick or eating junk. I'm averaging about 2,200 calories per day, most days they suggest I eat 2900 calories. My average calorie burn is between 3,300 -3600. I walk about 13,000 steps a day. I drink anything from 3-6 litres of water (I…

Low Carb Diet question
So I have to admit, I love carbs. At my worst, I can eat a bagel every morning, and pasta for dinner most nights. Not to mention, my soda addiction. If you're trying a low-carb diet, how often do you allow yourself something that you shouldn't normally eat? I want to cut down a lot without going cold turkey on my favorite…

However, i've since read many posts arguing that this is a bad approach. Im aware that generally below 1,200 is starvation mode, but to lose 2 pounds a week my…

Long work days and nutritional tracking
Hey every one, I am confused as what to do when tracking my Macronutrients. Because of my unusual work schedule I wake up one day and don't get to sleep until the following am.
