Calories from an egg, what's the difference?
How come it makes a difference in calories depending on how you prepare your egg? I'm not talking about seperating the egg white from the yellow... that is an obvious difference. But what I mean is how come the calories for an egg are different when frying it vs. boiling it, or anything else? When I fry my eggs in a pan, I…

is there too much?
I have found that I'm drinking a lot of caffeine free hot teas. Green Tea mostly, seems to kick a snack craving and it's warm, and it's cold here. I've started to try the fruity ones for a sweet craving. Is there a too much with herbal tea? I don't add anything to it.

Blueberry and Green Tea Smoothie (Great for breakfast!)
Antioxidants abound in this refreshing — and filling — breakfast drink. Green tea and blueberries protect your cells from free radicals, which damage DNA in the mitochondria, the key players in your body's calorie-burning engine. Almonds provide natural protein and healthy monounsaturated fat, while flax seed adds…

Fruit - good or bad
Hi Everyone, I love fruit - however I find that when I eat it, it actually tends to make me hungrier. I've been trying to reduce my fruit intake to only breakfast, as i find having it mid afternoon actually increases my sugar cravings. Thoughts? Thanks!

1500 Famous Star and Chilli Fries
Just had a Famous Star and Chili Fries from Carl's Jr for the first time in over 2 months, and it's the first time I log it on MFP! WOW, it scared me. 1500 calories, I had water with it, thank god. I think it's my last Burger/Fries combo this year, I don't think it's worth 1500 calories. Now I have to really hit Insanity…

HELP. I hate veggies.
I am a picky eater and I hate veggies. I hate, hate, hate them! I will, on occasion, choke down a salad made of lettuce (not iceberg if I can get something else. Usually a blend with butter lettuce, radicchio, and romaine), cucumber, and mushroom, because those are the only veggies I can actually manage to get down my…

Replacement Sugar
Hi I was wondering if anyone could help me. I cook a lot of random things and often need a sweetener as a sugar replacer. I tend to either use pure maple syrup and/or xylitol at the…
