Just found out my scale might be 20 pounds under
In other words you weight 100 it tells you 80. So this is great... I feel like giving up a little when I hear I might need to lose 20 more pounds?! Argh, trying to think of ways not to feel horrible about this and test and see if this is true.

how do you figure your target heart rate
How do you figure your target heart rate? And for how long should you try and keep in that target heart rate - If I do 30 minutes of cardio should I be in the target all 30 minutes plus a warm up/cool down or 20 minutes in range and warmup/cool down.... and can you explain or send me to a link that explains what the target…

carbs/protein numbers
So I totally realize that I shouldn't go over my numbers for fat, obviously.....but what about protein? i am assuming that staying under my recommended amount of carbs will help me lose weight, but I love protein. will i gain weight if i go over my recommended amount of protein?

Calorie cutting technique
if anyone uses canned soup or similar products put it in the fridge overnight before you use it. fat solidifies on top and you can then scrape it off saving a good amount of calories. btw soup is great for weight loss. very filing and low cal. only problem is sodium but i dont worry about it

Empty stomach before bed or a protein shake?
What should I do for weight loss? Obviously avoiding 120 calories of protei before bed is good (calories not eaten is as good as calories burned), on the other hand, wouldn't I benefit from a casein protein shake before bed to styme the effects of fasting overnight on my metabolism?
