Does it make a difference how long you exercise for?
I'm curious as to whether the things I have heard about needing to exercise for at least 30 minutes at a time for it to be effective, are true. I would much prefer to do 10 minutes here and there throughout the day, adding up to 30 minutes or more, but is that not as effective as doing 30 minutes at once? I'd like to know…

Who Knew?! ... Oh yeah, all the experts knew...

The Biggest Loser last night
So while watching the Biggest Loser last night I listened to Jillian say that they needed to burn 6000 calories and only eat 1200 calories. I assume the 6000 calories is over a 24 hour period. That is a mega deficit. Did I hear it right or am I missing something? Any thoughts?

Body Fat %?
Does anyone measure this and keep track? If so, how? Do you use a calipre, or does your scale calculate it for you? I feel this would be a more accurate way of tracking progress since we could be gaining weight in muscle as we lose weight in fat. :glasses: Opinions? Advice? Thanks in advance!! :flowerforyou:

Increased Appetite
Though I've abandoned my scale, I can tell I'm finally getting somewhere in my weight loss. I can just about see the outline of those abs I once had and my clothes are definitely fitting looser. Recently, I've been getting hungry between the several small meals I eat throughout the day. I just can't get full! I know I need…

tummy tuck?
I've lost about 120 lbs over the past six years, which has left me with some disgusting hanging skin. Just wondering if anyone out there has any experiences or horror…

Should I eat?
So, I've been getting good workouts lately (500-600 calories burned each time), and I have been trying to eat my exercise calories like I should. Update diet/fitness profile after Check-in
I assumed that when you changed your weight, your calories automatically adjusted, but I just realized, even after entering a lower weight, you have to go in and update your diet/fitness profile before your calories are lowered. Just something to keep in mind.

What is our body...?
If not a delicate machine? A reply from Sacredmaiden on another post got me thinking about all that we do TO our bodies, and how little most of us do FOR our bodies. So much we do is for the momentary pleasure without much thought for how our body will cope with what we're doing to it. If we all took the time to appreciate…
