noob question
SO after reading up on portion control and how many calories i need each day my question is this. when taking into account how many calories i am burning during my workouts am i aiming for a deficit or trying to break even? (ie. eat more to make up for calories burned in the workout?)

Depression Meds and Weight question
Has anyone been on anxiety and depression meds and found that they've gained weight and/or found it extremely hard to lose weight?

most people don"t want to hear this but fat and musle weigh the same so if your gaining weight it not muscle. muscle makes you look smaller at a heaver weight its water or icecream that causes weight gain from day to day

Calorie burn difference?????
Hi All, I did the stairmaster for 60 minutes today and the calorie burn on the machine said I had burned 525 and on my heart rate monitor it said I burned 675 ... Now I love my HRM's better DUH but why such a big difference??? Just wondering!!

Anyone gotten off their meds thanks to weight loss?
I take a few medications that I would rather not have to take- a fluid pill for high blood pressure, Losec for reflux...has anyone been able to get off of medications thanks to their weight loss?

Is this normal?
Since I've lost weight, I noticed that the hair on my legs and upper lips are growing out really fast. Honestly, I haven't shaved my legs 5+yrs and never waxed my upper lips before. Now I have to wax my upper lips and shave my legs like 2times/month.

how long should i wait to exercise after eating?
I try to eat every 2.5, eating a total of 6 times a day. I work, out every other day doing 20 mins of cardio, 10 min of abs and an hour to an hour an a half of full body strength training... so that's 1.5 - 2 hrs of exercise.
